Here are just some simple things for some people to understand, and not make hundreds of threads for.
1. If you are soft banned you either wait or go to a pokestop and the bot or IRL will spin it 30+ times and boom you removed your soft banned.
2. "I got soft banned omg am I like so banned for this?" No... Having 1 or few soft bans will/should not effect your account. My first legit account was banned from going to my hometown to a vacation spot that was 200 miles away, it didn't register about 40miles of it and it just went to the spot. Should I get banned for that? No, plus they would have a lot of complaints and it wouldn't be in their favor to do that.
3. What can lead to a risky perma ban? Is the perfect throws of course lol, I feel like the programmer should of obviously knew a lot of people wanted an option to give the bot a % on how he throws and how many perfect throws he'll do. This is a feature that MUST be implanted or you're risking everyone's account regardless of how they play. Refund is a go lol. The programmer did a great job of course and it's only 4.50$ per key, but some bought several including myself so you know the simply features is all we want really
4. Please don't travel the world in a fucking day, you then deserve a perma ban. If you're in a rush and a place didn't work out well for you atleast wait several hours or at least 1 or 2 hours so its not as bad as logging in to a different country instantly. It still leads to a soft ban, but it doesn't look bad as going there right away. So far all my accounts have been soft banned just once due to me just not being patient with the choice of location. It honestly depends on how you feel. If my state is slow, I go to LA for the extra 15k+ exp.
5. All in all don't worry about soft bans, you can have 0 soft bans but having an account lvl 30 in under a week and 98% catch rate is a ban right there. If we had options to reduce it then the soft bans and catch rate kinda make up for it. Till now no ones account is really safe. You can keep telling yourself that getting no soft bans is great, but what happens when they see your catch rate and excellent throws? Even if they did a fix it would take a long time for your % to go down and all the data could be logged in. Either way we're all screwed, unless they only ban players after their anti-cheat is updated and such, that is the best possible action for us to be saved from an update. If they kept logs and data stored and did a massive ban wave, like overwatch did then no one is safe.
