Pokemon Go .37 released in Playstore

So I see they officially released version .37 but oddly they have no mention about rooted/jailbroken devices.

Was this all a hoax, did they change their mind after hearing all the complaints or did they just neglect to add that part?

I see people comments on Google Play saying they can't play Pokemon GO anymore because they have rooted phones.

No. it's totally legit.. My phone is rooted running Cyanogenmod and today Pokemon GO forced me to log out. Then I had to update,and once I did I was greeted with a screen saying my phone or OS was not compatible.
