What exactly is this message for? Has it detected that I'm at risk of a ban or is it just guessing that because I've run the bot for X hours, I need a break? If it's the latter, ya'll should really remove that "feature".

Logs attached.

Yes it's a safety feature. just stop botting for 24hours and you'll be good again.

What are the criteria for it to kick in? That's more the question I'm looking to answer. I mean, I had only been botting the current account for about 45 minutes when this warning came up, whilst I had botted another account for more than 4 hours without it... I'd like to know if there is something that triggers it or if it's just how long the PokeFarmer process has been alive...

1000 pokemons/ 24hours and 2000 pokestops. Else you probably teleported too far too quickly

Does Pokemon Go monitor activity individual account or by IP? I have three accounts running on the same Key and I believe that this stat is only monitoring total use within 24 hours regardless of which account was used, correct? (Is it safe then under that regard?)

It's always better to go with this trip wire feature, pretty much if you ignore it, you'll start getting Pokemon fleeing on you and get logged off for an unresponsive server anyway. It knows what it's doing.

stat is monitored by the folder.

Another thing too, is that if you use the same PF folder with multiple accounts it will not differentiate between the accounts and use the grand total, if you plan to use one key with multiple accounts (not at the same time obviously) I suggest creating multiple folders of PF for each account. This also allows for individual log files in the event one or two accounts are having issues but not all of the accounts.

Hope that helps.

That's pretty much the answer I was looking for. I had been running for 24 hours or so when it happened, but over 3 different accounts, and the last account I had run for max 1 hour, so it struck me as very strange that I'd get such a warning...

Yeah I can understand why it would seem worrisome or confusing, at first I ran into that issue, but if you setup how I suggested then that should avoid any further false warnings. Happy farming and if you have any further questions/concerns, do not hesitate to make another posting in support.
