Pokefarmer plus a buddy

Question, I know the bot has its bare minimum functionality set up but if i logged in on my phone and chose a buddy will this be a problem for the bot? will it still accrue candies because i selected a buddy?

The distance you travel in the bot will go towards the buddy count, but you don't get the candies whilst running the bot. You get them when you log in on your phone later.

For example I travelled 25 km on the bot and when I logged in later on my phone I got 5 candies from the buddy.

Interesting. I already wondered why i don't get any candy. Thanks for the information.
