YES UN responsible of pokefarmer bot not to give a clear message about the problem ....... and what vill happen to the acount that are boting nowYou must be a new subscriber who purchased the bot while it is down. We have been advising the staff to suspend selling of the bot when it is down to avoid this kind of potential problems for new customers, but I guess its their business, and no one else.
You are probably confused why it is not working. The problem is that there is no official notification from the staff that the bot is down. It's a baptism of fire, you will only find that out once you purchased the product, run it, and receive that message. By that time, you already purchased the product, and they already secured a customer for at least a month. That is the normal form of communication here. You can also find that out from other posts from other customers complaining about the bot not working, and customers arguing, while staff are probably enjoying reading every arguments.
Pokefarmer, like other bots, is using Reversed Engineered API 45 to communicate with Niantic server. However, Niantic recently forced updated Pokémon Go, and with that, they also updated to API 47, which is not compatible with API 45. Therefore the bot can no longer communicate with Niantic server. Pokefarmer deactivated the bot to prevent users from getting flagged or banned(according to my interpretation of their their statement). For the bot to work, they have to Reverse Engineer the new 47 version API implemented by Niantic. It takes time, the last one took over a month. As of this time, they haven't yet, so all bots are currently down. Until they REd the new API, it will remain out of service. For the meantime, your key is put on pause, and will play only after the new PF is released, so you are not really losing your key timer. Based on last time's downtime, the one month key that you purchased this November of 2016 key may not expire until 2017, so you're still set.
