whats the average wait time for EB to update after this kind of poe patch anybody knows?

Generally only takes an hour or so. The updating process has been extremely fast recently.

I think the overall updating time depends on how soon Pushedx sees that PoE was updated, which he is usually on top of.

How do we update after it's been patched. Do we have to uninstall and reinstall the whole thing?

Just launch Exilebuddy as normal, and it will patch itself after Pushedx makes the update. Launching it before it gets updated will simply tell you its still out of date.
