Pulldistance, where is it :) Using kikcs and cava's - lvl 60+ atm.Melee. Singular.

Running up to a mob, dismounting 50-60 yrds away from it and running the last yards... why?

90 % its like, killl mob, mounts up, goes 20 yards on mount, dismounts and walks the last 50-60 yards.

Cant you make it so at least hes in range to pull ? If i set mount distance to 10-100 yrds, it
doesnt change a thing, he only walks more, or less, so its hard coded into the bot?

It looks so bottish. Any help to change this to more human-like?

Let him pull to dismount if hostile is next target?

Also it nice that u made the bot faster, but sometimes its just 2 fast.

Wow cant keep up and tries to take same quest over and over and over. Sometimes 10 times before accepted.

And no it aint lag :) im never above H-W 20-30.

Indeed. That just looks stupid!

Hi all,

This is the Combat Routine making this decision, not Honorbuddy. What you are describing (at 40 yards) is exactly the right behavior for ranged classes (hunters, mages, warlocks, etc). You are complaining about the CR pull behavior for melee classes.

You should report the problem to your favorite CR thread. Also, don't forget to attach a log so they can isolate the issue.

cheers,
chinajade

Singular has a setting to change for melee pulls, changing that wont change a thing so as said,

isnt it hb hardcoded then ? Its not 40 btw, its 50 since i need to walk at least 10 to pull after
and we all know pulling starts at 40?

Singular is set to 10. Still behaves worse when left to 12 -15? You sure its cr related?

Please explain to me what you think the Pull Distance setting did.

The pull distance "looked" for mobs in the area, and when set to a certain ( x) value, it would pull then
first mobs inbetween X before mounting?

About the dismounting : singular ( Melee dismounting range = 10 ) and doesnt change a thing. 10-50-100.

No changes, thats why i ask, is it the cr and not the bot that has summit like 40 yrd ranged pull hardcoded?

The times that im running for 10 yards, mounting for 30 and running again another 20 is.. .countless?

Pull Distance has nothing to with how far from the mob that your toon is dismounting before engaging in combat.
There are two similar settings. Targeting Distance and Pull Distance.

Targeting Distance is a distance HB scans to even consider a mob. Say Your targeting distance is 50 yards while the mob is 75 yards away. This means that Honorbuddy will never target this mob by itself.

Pull Distance is the distance from the mob before the Pull behavior is initiated. However, pulling is not handled by Honorbuddy, but rather the combat routine that is being used.
Say if you have your Pull Distance set to 30 yards. Assuming Targeting Distance is > 30 yds, the mob will be targeted. Once the mob is within 30 yards, Honorbuddy will then hand over control to the combat routine so that it is able to take care of the objective.
It is all up to the combat routine about how the pull is handled.

We are making changes to how settings are being changed. People will often open their settings while their bot is running and see that the settings are not how they initially set them. Often people will change these settings and very often it interferes with the bot, causing certain objectives to fail because certain settings were altered by the profile or combat routine.
You will see in future Honorbuddy releases that general settings will be grayed out and cannot be changed while the bot is running.
While people may see it as making the bot less customizable, that is not the case. We are trying to reduce the number of problems caused by human interference.
