[Plugin] MrFetcher

You beat me to it. I was writing this today also - but no point in having multiple versions out there.

One thing I did work on that yours is missing is a timer so that it doesn't cast fetch multiple times on the same loot target (time for the pet to get to the body, loot it, etc). Here's my version (attached) - with the timer stuff taken from SupremeTargets / FPS.

You watched the first version, new version is with timer ;)

If you're quick, you can still make the loot-a-rang version? :P
 
Love it. Warhopper's version worked very well and maybe seemed to not work so well, will try again.
 
maybe's version is more spammable but still more reliable, could it be improved somehow?
 
Anyone want to update this great plugin? The plugin works, but lags alot and misses few times every now and then. :rolleyes:

There, I updated this addon, made a recode of it, should work on all clients now and not just english ones, removed the while loop so it shouldn't lock up your wow/hb anymore.

I've noticed that if your hunter is in motion when your pet tries to loot, it will fail to do so. The loot sparkles will disappear from the corpses but the loot remains unobtained. you have to fetch, stand still, wait for loot, then you can move again.

This may be the cause of your random misses.
 
I've been working on this, I've combined all of the Fetches plugins I have found, added alittle to them. It will now work with Fetch glyph, Loot-A-Rang and Findle's Loot-A-Rang.

But I need some help to check whether your inventory is full or not. I have found WoWBag.FreeSlots > 0 and an !FullInventory so that the bot doesn't loop when trying to loot when you have full inventory. But how to use these two is still a mystery to me, anyone care to help?

This doesn't work anymore. Also original creators version is still not updated regarding the lagissue as it doesn't support framelock (and play without framelock is not an option nowadays, hehe. ) I am humbly asking if someone would take the time to tweak it so it works with current honorbuddy. No rush, just hope that some saint wanna make us happy. Cheers. ;)

Most situations where this is useful work extremely well with Singular.. which has this built in :)
 
I use singular ONLY when afk grinding or questing. I see no reason to use singular while manually controlling my toon when there is way better routines out there. I am seeking to use mr fether in group situations as this is alot faster than manually run to each loot. :). Also singular only use it if more than 10 yards away. I want it in any range, (i.e fetch triggers when i stand still fighting mobs in instance/questgroup/raid where looting is stressful when you need to focus on the fighting. I control some spells manually, and that's another reason automatic fetch is useful while not using singular. Also in solo mode it is more slack as well. So there is reasons for needing this plugin still. ;)

I'd ask for your routine to include this. With Framelock plugins normally disabled for best performance. That is why it was built into singular to begin with most likely.

Looy-A-Rang requires engineering. Manually bind fetch is possible, but no as I was looking for automating the looting. I simply ask if someone would update the plugin and if anyone can, thats great and yay cool and most greatful for it. But I wasnt asking for alternate solutions. If noone have time it's cool. I see if I can do it myself (if I can find out how). Thanks for replying anyways. ;)
