TrapBuddy - An automated trap launcher for hunters, perfect for arenas.

Originally developed as a BotBase, TrapBuddy has now been turned into a plugin!

Installation
- Simply unzip the folder to the Plugin folder in Honorbuddy.

How do I use it?
- *Must use macros found below*

- Set target being trapped to your focus target, click/hit macro.

Tips for use
- Target can be behind you and TrapBuddy will still throw trap.
- Prime your trap by pressing macro during steady/cobra shot and trap will be launched immediately after.
- Will throw traps into smoke bombs.
- Focus arena team mate and throw traps on top of him.

Macros
#showtool Freezing Trap
/script trapNum =1;

#showtool Explosive Trap
/script trapNum =2;

#showtool Binding Shot
/script trapNum =3;

Awesome bot man! Few quirks to iron out however: binding shot shoots behind the target and the script doesn't work without being edited. If you look at the distinuishing differences between the bot base and plugin, the trap types are numbered in the botbase and the plugin has nothing but zeroes. This resulted in the plugin not working within the arena without being modified with numbers. Other than that, outstanding job there bud!

The case statement is actually what is checking what number the traptype is. I think I see the problem though, I need to add 2 lines of code. Thanks for the heads up! Oh yeah you also have to take into account the travel time of the trap.The further you are away the less likely you are to land a trap because of the long distance it has to travel unless they are stunned or snared.

Haze I ammended the file and replaced trap with heroic leap and it works for Warrior heroic leap... the only issue im having is that I would like it to work on selected target...similar to how orb botting works...whats happening is that it only works on my focus target...is there anyway you can help me ammend the file so that it i could use the macro to work on selected target and not focus?
 
I need help, I can't run the plugin at all! I unzipped the file into the plugin folder but i get this error:

Try reinstalling honorbuddy maybe?
 
This plugin works great, but just a request if possible. Could you put conditions on the trapbot too in a somewhat advanced edition? Like only trap when the focus target is afflicted by certain CC's like concussive shot or Fist of Justice? And then to only trap twice while waiting for the DR, so it doesn't keep trapping until the target is immune. So only 8 seconds, 4 seconds and then stops trapping until the DR is reset.

Hello Haze,

For some reason i can't get the Plugin to work.
It shows up in the list as enabled and i've made the macro's you discribed.
Whenever i press the macro it just doesn't do anything, offcourse i have a focus target.
Trying it in Battlegrounds atm.

The botbase however works great.

But i would really love to use the plugin version.
I have no other plugins enabled and using enyio with Tuanha free version.

Plug in only doesn't work with lazyraider or Enyo but it works great with combat bot

Hey just a quick question would you be able to add the snake trap to this list would be really great for pvp activity, most of the macro's i have in-countered suck for this thank you!
 
so what base do i use on this because combat bot just makes everything crazy with this plugin, how do i actually only use the plugin? im spamming cobra shot at people with button one on my ui and i lag each press.
 
Stupid question but how does this work exactly? I play myself but the bot is trapping for me? Can someone who's using this explain exactly how it works? thanks :D
