[Plugin] Glider Sounds for HonorBuddy

Here's a very small but very lovely plugin I made. If you're one of the very few old school botters around and you've used Glider back in the days, you probably remember it making all kinds of noises when stuff happened.
Well, this plugin will bring some of those sound effects to HonorBuddy. It'll make the same noises Glider did when it kills a mob, when it attaches, you get a whisper, you die, the bot stops, etc.

I made it just for a laugh, but I loved it enough to share it with you guys. Just download the archive and extract it into your Honorbuddy folder (not into the plugins folder!) and enable it in the Plugin window. You'll be going on a trip down memory lane!

OMG i miss glyder so much! Got banned back in BC with the rest of the Glyders :) the biggest ban wave. I just so happened to be appart of it :( sucked
 
I remebr waking up in the middle night so many damn time to that metal basebat sound. I would be passed out and I would sit straight up and run to the laptop. Ohh glider those were the days. Just creating a custom loop and let it kills the same mobs for hours/days.
 
Ouhh, these sounds make me remeber the days when you had Glider elite and setting it up with Ppather. Dope plugin! keep it up!
 
Jajajaja, love the sounds, now im only missing Control, Control, G to start the bot and it will be awesome!

Love it old school botters ftw, I miss my gliding business, going even further back I miss wowsharp.
 
Loved wowsharp it worked with wow minimized and it was free. That was epic win.
 
You should add some settings for the sounds. In my case i could live without The entering combat/mob slain alert.
 
nice will try this, i still keep an old VM i had that ran glider just for fun :)
 
Memories! Grinding your way to 70.. That was ALOT babysitting..

- setting up your action bars
- buying decent gear from the AH
- vendor runs and training new spells
- Preparing overnight runs (and 9 out of 10 I woke up looking at a disconnected screen)
- GM Zarborough: always banned people with whispers like ''another one bites the dust''
- Much more player reports.. I remember the annoying whisper sound and most of the time it was something like 'nice bot'

So THIS is where you have been hiding Aevitas lol

Trying this now... as I used WoWGlider from it's conception, through the penultimate name change to mmoglider until the ultimate demise. God I miss that bot lol
 
Haha, thanks!! =) Loved glider back in the days.. Made a lot of $ back then before all cheaters came along.. 100 $ in a couple of days with 3 bots running :) Aaah, good times, good times :)

How many here were part of the old Glider Ventrilo Crew?
I know I was.... hell I made them guys a glider color themed glass bubbler an sent it to em at the office, simply just for how much money they made me in BC. Hamut was the reason I got off my ass and went back to school for coding! Wonder where that fella's at these day, should dig out his email addy from somewhere in the abyss.... Just anotha botta making his way thru a profile...
 
Hi! Nice plugin. But how can i disable some sounds? And in what folder i should copy archive content?
I just copy it in every folder of hb)) it works somehow, but i want to know right way)
