So I've been doing some work to clean up and add more logic checks to EquipMe and below is a few quick notes I'd like some feedback/input on.
This is what it looks like currently,
What it does now,
- You can edit the weight set in the gui and it also supports all item stats that are available (including sockets etc)
- You can load weight set xml files from the old AutoEquip
- It supports dual-specs so you can have different configurations and weightsets for each spec you have
- Settings will also be switched over when you change spec in game
- It currently rolls for loot based on your weight set, falling back to greeding (or disenchanting if it's available) if the item isn't better than the current one equipped.
- It clicks the "equipping this item will bind it to you" and "needing/greeding/disenchanting this item will bind it to you" popup boxes
- There is a list where you can put in items you specifically want to roll need on (by name or id)
- Loot rolling can be turned off, but this doesn't turn auto pass on loot on so any items that are roll for you will just timeout
- You can blacklist qualities so it won't try to equip item qualities that aren't already soulbound (ie, if you loot a boe epic it won't try to equip it but if you loot a bop epic it will)
- There is a setting to not try to equip items over already equipped heirlooms (although it will try to equip heirlooms in your bags if they are better)
- You can set it to only equip a certain type of armour (eg, so it doesn't equip anything other than plate for paladins)
- Pulses immediately after a new item is placed in your bag
- Otherwise the pulse interval is a setting available
What it will do soon,
- Equip new/better bags
- Take your current class and spec into consideration for equipping items
|- fury warriors only equipping one handers or main+off
|- arms warriors only equipping 2h
|- only 2hs for dks
|- swords or daggers for rogues, depending on spec
I don't know enough about all the classes so I would welcome feedback on what kinda rules you would like (even to be able to configure) on a per class basis. I was even thinking about a third tab for these settings however I'm not sure there will be enough to warrant this.
There will be a new thread for the release, this is only for feedback and input. Please let me know any ideas or thoughts.
