Does anyone else encounters a shitload of Reflect Damange packs as a Demon Hunter. I made a "Glass Canon" build (low HP, high DPS) but my elite packs are always fucking Reflect Damage, and i just almost one-shot myself when i hit them.

It's getting so freaking anoying.

Anyonse else experiences this or has a nice way to get rid of these packs (except pulling them in a corner and run like a chicken)?

1. You gotta have enough DPS
2. I used to shoot Nether tentacles in their face, once the tentacle is close to hitting go into Smokescreen and spam a few impales until smokescreen is over.

Yea i was beeing sarcastic, but i only got 1 D3 client, and 1 DB session, so i'm not making 50 mil a day. If i get 10 mil a day then i would call it a succes.

Get a weapon with high speed and ALOT (800+) of Life on Hit and maybe even Life Steal, for those packs, thats what I did when I finished Inferno on my DH

I think two 1handers with these stats might be preferable, just swap the weaps when you meet these packs.

its easy to kill them jsut take an extra bow and amulet with u and have a bow with 900 health on hit and a 500 or 400 health on hit gem in there with an amulelt that also gives u 500 to 600 health on hit. and change when u come across a reflect pack
the bowsw with hp on hit are quite cheap.

ive got a barb tank with with 4k life on hit ( normal tank gear) and all my characters have atleast an amulet and a weapon with lif eon hit to survive the reflect packs

I do the same with high dps crit build.

Scatter traps on their face and then SS to avoid reflect damage.

Works like a charm.

With my current cheap azz build each trap gives arounnd 200k-300k crit damage
 
cluster bombs and smokescreen... but since ur pure dps built u cant miss at aall when it comes to smoking or ur fucked xD cluster bombs hit like a fucking truck if you get em good
 
theres two ways to beat this undergeared, shoot few missiles and time your smokescreen as they hit them, and kite using stun traps. or, u can buy a lower min/max dmg bow with 900+ life on hit and kill them whenever u face a reflect dmg mob. never shoot a missile if its going to kill u, run around look for health globes or kite till u can potion again.

or u can be a scrub and buy natalyas set and sit still like a barb(this requires no skill)

The reason they do this is it makes the glass cannon a non viable build past that point. It forces you to change to a more survivability / dps build. People just do not want to change from zerg attackforce
 
L2Play for real. Shadow Power with Gloom Rune is your friend. Just pop that, and laugh as you heal for more than you get damaged for. I'm at 298k damage, and 15k hp, and my crits (52% without SS) heal me for 5k+.

your right ofcourse, this stuff should be posted on the nromal game forums on battle.net or something.
But you do have to agree with my that a post solely with "l2p" is a waste of everyones time ( even a waste for the poster of said comment)
