I have 2 WoWs on 1 Bnet account. I'm planning playing on my main (WoW1) while having bot on in VMware(WoW2), they are still coming from same IP tough or can i use some kind of proxy on VMware? How suspicious is this and how easily i can get banned on both accounts?

it will raise several brows :) thats for sure ... i would not do that if i would be you

no if you play manualy on another account and not bot on it that account can not be banned only the account where you botting on could be at risk or not

There's absolutely no proof that what you're saying is correct. Blizz can ban any account, at any time, for any reason they see fit.

And running one account in VMware is going to do nothing to protect you unless you're going in and changing your hardwareID's all around.

VMware should have a diferent hardware id ... right ? ... i`m pretty sure of that.
and if you have really good internet you could try running a paid proxy from that vmware ... something close to your city that way you won't lag too much.
but like ryftobuddy said this is just speculation.

No, not unless you specifically assign new MAC addresses to the hardware, it uses existing ID's. It's one of the reasons why running VM's does absolutely nothing to protect you. Same thing with proxies and V P N's. Unless they're setup correctly and you've taken the time to mask all your hardware identifiers, they provide zero benefit in protecting your account.

I've been playing diablo 3 since the new season came out while using HB on my wow account, nothing happend yet

Playing Diablo and wow at the same time has absolutely nothing at all to do with running 2 instances of wow at the same time.

One company makes both games and use battle.net. The similarities end there.

Been running my main account and bot account for about 6 weeks now.

Main is a hardcore raiding account, so I'm on quite a bit.

Bot farms stuff, literally 24/7. Nothing yet. I even talked to a gm on my main account earlier and if I had any flags on my main account, I would have been banned right then and there.

I've even bought a wow token for my bot account. Really weird.

Pretty safe from what I can tell, and I've had 10 accounts banned over the last 6 months.

I've had multiple scenarios where I have multiple licenses on one battle net account and only 3/5 were being botted on and all 5 were banned. This has happened during ban waves and times where I had multiple bans on a battle.net accounts. When I say not botted i mean the accounts had a full licence on them and they were empty. I even had one licence get banned on my main battle.net that I used to use to log into dal and looking for the books for higher learning achieve, the toon was a level 60 human mage and I never booted once on it.

In saying that - I've had alot of times where only the acocunts I botted on were banned and my mules/actual played accounts never got touched.

What profiles you use and how much gold per day you make with how many bots?

What are you farming?

I've maintained my main account through several ban waves now, I've lost accounts to well known waves, I've lost suicide farming accounts, i've lost fishing bots, but I've never lost the main account that I always play when these bots are running. I've had this account since the glider days, I ran bots during the burning crusade alongside my main.

You would be hard pressed to find someone who has lost one bnet account due to the actions of a different one, unless something stupid happened like they traded gold between those accounts directly, or accidentally injected into their main. Blizzard doesn't give a shit about hardware ID, banning is a for profit action that's not nearly as personal as the boogyman these forums try to make it out to be.

These's proof to the contrary from core developers here. Your experience doesn't make it a fact.
