Player whispered me and said "Reported"

disclaimer! i know there is no such thing as "safe botting" i just want some helpful pointers :]

Hey guys,

I've been using HB for over a month now. Some questing profiles but more skinning than anything else.
I generally "honestly" supervise the skinning 90% of the time. I never leave it while i'm out of the room.
Today I received a Whisper saying "You're botting again? Reported mate."
This is the first time I've been (knowingly) "caught". I only saw the Whisper 20 minutes after I received it (I use timestamps ingame) so I didn't reply. I shift clicked his name and he wasn't even online so it's possible he didn't even send a report.
I just closed HB, spent some time in Org and logged off.

What should I do now in terms of botting? I do only use it for main account so should I lay off the botting for a week or something?

Hoping you guys can give me some advice

stay cool ! Nothing about to worry ! This happenz me min. 1 time a week. But 0 Bans. This is only a small D*** who is also a botter.

I wasn't using auto-anything. I generally just keep an eye on the screen and hear the little noise if anybody ever whispers me. This time I was watching some stuff online and didn't notice someone had whispered me.

I think I'll keep it very light for a week or so and play by hand during peak times? Quite worried.

If I panicked every time some joker said "reported" I'd never earn gold with HB.
Switching your routine just because of this guy will probably tip your hat to the botting as a normal person would just carry on doing what they have been doing.

If it happens again let him know its against the rules to harass.

he might very well be a fellow botter but for him to say something to him shows he is irritated and wants competition out. chances are that he is willing to risk his account to get rid of yours because frankly money talks or in this case gold talks... he wants monopoly and you are getting in his way of his goals. Assume you are flagged and so is he (blizzard also flags reporters just how it works) and start to transfer some stuff around so you dont lose stuff because its better to be safe than sorry.

worst case scenario you get banned and he continues monopoly
not so bad scenario you and him both banned

he is in the "threaten" stage and will soon be moving to "action" stage.
he might be one of those "if i dont get my way, noone gets any way" type

you might need to fight fire with fire and report him on a legit or free account to ensure he gets banned before he "action" you

ALWAYS assume the worst that way you always have good news rather than bad

download badboy addon all badboy addons and ingame put it on lvl 85 no one can whisper u then only friends or guild members dont worry about those douchebag that says reports you they ones that say that are the most of the times self botters who reports u just get badboy.

they just want to scare you of just ignore them and get badboy.
