Planting around a cottage

Does anyone have any suggestions for a plugin to use to be able to plant around the edge of a cottage? I know that everyone already has been saying that scarecrow doesnt work at cottages (and apperently thatched are bugged now too though i havnt tested that) but I was wondering if there are any other options plug in wise to plant/gather at a cottage, any help would be greatly appreciated, and if someone has to write a plug in to do it let me know if there is anything i can do to help/show my appreciation. This would be great.

The Thatched one works great - as long as I am using individual seeds. I run the scarecrow that comes with AB, then when it starts planting I run into my thatched and close the doors until it is done. I really do wish that seed bundles could get to working with the thatched.
