Picking up lots of grey items!

Hi, I'm wondering why the bot picks up grey item when they DO NOT have 6 sockets.

Is this because the grey item can be valuable if I use alchemy on it?


I'm really trying to figure out the filtering system, but it's really hard.. After 6 hours of sleep, my stash was full of 4 uniques, no rare armor or weapon, 7 grey 6 sockets items, and probably about 10-20 grey items with only 1-3 sockets.

Is the bot bugging itself, or are the items actually worth saving?

I've sold everything, can't remember the names of the grey items... But I'll post it later if that's actually the chase!

Could be that they vendored into chromatics or possibly blacksmith whetstones or armor scraps if you have that turned on in your filter. Those are the ones I remember off the top of my head that would get picked up with the default filter.
 
You'll have to post some examples of what the bot is picking up if they don't make sense. The default filters pickup less things than it used to. To get a better understanding of the filters, have a look at the Item Filter Editor Guide.

It could also be that you need to turn on "Key Pickup" in your Path of Exile UI Options if they are truly junk items.

Those filters are turned OFF. I don't want the bot to pick up items for whetstones or armor scraps recipes.

It picks up like 1 socketed "KARUI CHOPPER" "CITADEL BOW" "HEADMAN'S SWORD" etc etc...

I do have "Key Pickup" turned on.
