[Pet Battle] Pet Training Profiles

Battle Pet Profiles

About the Profiles:
I will update this list as I continue to make profiles. Just follow these directions:
  1. Download and install Prosto_Pet Bot
    • I DID NOT MAKE THE BOT AND TAKE NO CREDIT. PROBLEMS WITH THE BOT NEED TO BE REPORTED IN THE BOT FORUM POST
  2. Please review the Bot forum post to understand how to use it.
  3. Load your profile. Make your settings.
  4. Start

You need to fly to the zone you are trying to work on. The Bot does not fly to the zone.

How to download the Profiles:
1. Download TortoiseSVN: TortoiseSVN - Downloads & Install.
2. Make a folder called Guadahs Pet Profiles inside your Profiles folder.
3. Right click the folder you just created and click on the option "SVN Checkout"
4. Paste in the link to my SVN Trunk and click Okay5. Wait for the profiles to download.
6. Update when you need a new profile by right clicking on the folder and selecting the option "SVN Update"

1-3 Durotar (Horde)

3-5 Azshara (Should be Neutral)
4-7 Ashenvale (Should be Neutral)

Scorged Whelpling & Arctic Fox Kit (Icecrown) - Flys a semi-small loop around Sindragosa's Landing and up into Storm Peaks for the Kit NEW!

All Rare Pet profiles are SMALL. Use these at your own RISK. I would not recommend using any of the Rare Pet profiles unattended. My suggestion is IF you use them, stay near your computer so you can respond to any whispers and take action if necessary. I created these because of requests for them. I tested the profiles to ensure they work without getting stuck, however I personally do NOT use them.

If you have specific requests or questions about the profiles please post them here.
Plugin issues need to be posted in the forum of the Plug-in itself.

Plug-in Information:

Pokebuddy - This is your main Plug-in for Pet Battles. This Plug-in will locate the pets, start the battle and perform the pet actions during the fight. It is an extremely configurable battlepet combat plugin that lets you pick the actions that each pet can perform. It is already pre-configured and you don't NEED to do anything to get it to work.

PetArea - You can find this addon via a link on the PokeBuddy forum post. This plugin will let you select what profiles you will use at specified levels. Again, this plug-in does not NEED to be pre-configured, but has the option for it. It comes with pet profiles created by the plugin owner that work very well.

Battle Pet Swapper - This plugin will set up and swap out pets that have low health before each fight. There are a number of configurations you can use which make this a MUST HAVE addon for Pet Leveling, Pet Collecting or just Grinding. Review the OP of this Plugin for more detailed information.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. When I load your profile and click start, my character just flies around. It will target a pet but will not start any battles.
A. You probably need to set the range to a larger distance. The Max Range you can set is 300 yards. This will be large enough to trigger any battle.

Q. How do I download your profiles!?
A. You need to install a SVN Client and follow the directions at the top of the first post.

Q. Why won't my bot change zones?
A. Ensure that you have PetArea checked in your Plugin's. If you are not happy with the Default profiles in PetArea you can select your own via the Configuration menu.

Q. What is the best way to level my pet?
A. Once you have your first team of 3 pets up to level 25, I suggest you select one of them as your Ringer and place him in the 3rd slot. Put two lower level pets in slot 1 and slot 2. I recommend a pet that can heal in slot 2 if you have one available to level. (I suggest this because when you swap from pet 1 to pet 2, the NPC team will get a 'free turn' and your pet in slot 2 will take more damage.) Then start to fight mobs that are far higher then your first two pets, but can be handled by your 3rd all by itself. Zones in the Outlands are great to use. You will get high XP for "Difficulty" for your lower level pets and they will level VERY fast. HERE is an interesting guide that you may find useful.

Q. How can I avoid issues with my pet in battle, I get silenced and he just sits there.
A. Any questions like this need to be directed to the forum post for PokeBuddy. It has nothing to do with any profile you are running, but the plugin itself.

Q. I keep getting stuck while attempting to get into a pet battle!
A. THIS is a legit issue that needs to be posted in this thread, please post the profile you are using and the general area of 'stuck'.

Q. What is your favorite pet to use as a Ringer?
A. The Spirit of Competition, followed by the Shore Crab (best for collecting IMO, has a shield, heal and big damage). Other notable's would be the Phoenix Hatchling & the Eternal Strider.

Q. I don't know what to do, please HELP!
A. Unplug your computer, lift it up from your desk and carry it to your front yard. Throw your computer tower like a shot-put and leave it where it lands. Do this, and do it with force because you really do not need to use it if you can not manage to read directions posted above.

This is great, but is there a possibility to Blacklist a certain Area?
I'm a Horde Character. My Char seems to like after a while the Outpost in Dun Morogh from the Alliance... And as the Guards respawn fast, he keeps staying there.

Would be nice if you could help me with that little Problem.

When the servers come back up, I will make a few low level Horde zones for you. Dun Morogh is pretty much an alliance zone, I wouldn't use it as Horde (Same with Elwynn Forest).

Give me an hour or so after the servers come up and I will do 4-5 Low Horde Zones. Any requests?
 
Which ever you like!
Right now i am using Dun Morogh, but have to intervene quite often.

Best for Horde would probably be Durotar and then Northern Barrens.

btw... Turned it on just now and had the problem that he would not rotate the Pets.
Yesterday it was running fine. Looks a bit stupid ganking lvl 1 pets with my now lvl 5 pet...
Any Idea what could have caused that?
 
Scratch my last remark.
Seems to work again after relogging 2 times and changing a few settings randomly ^^

Will let it run for a bit.

That's a addon issue, would have to address it with the Add-on owner, I just wrote profiles to compliment it.

I've added Durotar, Thunder Bluff and Northern Barrens.

Sorry it took so long, the website wasn't functioning properly shortly after the servers came back up, and I then had to run errands.

SVN Added! Took me a bit, but I figured it out.

Hah! I would have done no such thing!
My goal is to get a profile for every zone, just to give people options. Options make people happy, happy people give rep and likes, which makes me happy in return.

Time to farm some Herb & Ore, then I'll get back to the Pet Profiles.
 
Been hoping for a profile like this, Much appreciated, are their any alternative pet rotation plugins out there? if i change an attack to one with a cooldown the bot just sits there trying to use it still, using pet_ang also, Thanks!

Not that I'm aware of just yet; however, if you post your opinions on the add-on owners thread, he's pretty receptive and responds often.
 
Have you thought about using an SVN? If you plan on making profiles all the way up, an SVN would definitely make life easier.

Glad you're supportive, but let me repeat myself. I've never set one up and do not know how. I did a little researching on it, and it seems I would require a web hosting service, which I do not have.
 
Could you please also, post a zip of all profiles you make or a svn..i suppose you going to make a few and it's annoying to click every profile...thx again for the effort - we appreciate it.
