***Notice of Account Closure***

Account Name: [Censored]

Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Abuse of the Economy

This account was closed because one or more characters were identified exchanging, or contributing to the exchange of, in-game property (items or gold) for "real-world" currency. This exchange process negatively impacts the World of Warcraft game environment by detracting from the value of the in-game economy.

Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment.

We've found the above behaviour is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity and the risks involved, please review this article: Impact of Buying Gold - Services - World of Warcraft

The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. We ask you take a moment to review these terms at Blizzard Entertainment: Blizzard Legal Documentation. Any recurring subscriptions on this account have been suspended to prevent further monetary charges.

If you believe your account was compromised, please go to the following website https://eu.battle.net/account/support/account-recovery.html. Our support staff will assist you as soon as possible. If you are unable to access your account due to the password being changed, please visit our Login Support site here: https://eu.battle.net/account/support/password-reset.html

For any disputes of this action or further information on Exploitive Activity, please visit the Exploitative Activity FAQ and contact page here: Exploitative Activity in World of Warcraft - Battle.net Support

I have never sold any gold
I "was" going to sell gold but never got so far, all my gold was in my guild bank
I sent 140k gold from one char to another, does this have something to do with the ban?
My friend got banned for the exact same reason at the same time, he typed to me on skype like:

Account Banned

You are unable to access this page because this license is banned, locked, or suspended.

Back to Battle.net Account Management
Watch out ;p

As we both got the ban for no appearent reason, and we both got banned at the same time it must have been some sort of auto ban?

Don't really know what to do right now :s atleast i've set up a ticket on my other account hoping to get unbanned

This scares the shit out of me :s

Scared?

Dont be, appeal it, some will say dont, others will say do.... i say screw blizz and appeal.

I send more then that to chars all the time, shouldnt be it.

Keep my gold in guild bank, capped now on 2 chars, they dont even scan guildbanks to see whos having

some unusual amount but no guild etc etc.

But then again, if scared, dont bot what your not prepared to lose.

This is like the first ban im recieving and i've had wow since 2008,2009 :(

Im playing wow since beta, botting for 2 years now, if the bot would get caught or shut down, i would quit wow. simple as that.

I farm i bot, i raid i bot, i pvp i bot, i do instances i bot, i .... you get it now i think... wow is on , bot is on. 10 hours + a day.

It doesnt matter how long you play, matters how long you bot, in what intensity and how much you supervise, what you do with wispers, auto replies and so on.

If this is your first ban and you can say, i did nothing out of the ordinary in the past wich should make me such a suspect now, appeal, especially because it sounds like a script ban.

On the ticket i submitted i said like, what is this? I haven't done anything mentioned in this mail. Is this a permanent ban, etc etc
Hopefully i will get unbanned and be more careful boting in the future
I think the reason for my ban might've been cus i posted lots of herbs and ores on ah like every day for about a week, 70+ stacks of cinderbloom, whiptail and elementium ores

Got any tips to avoid bans?

Common sense is the best way. Try to avoid uldum. Don't post auctions on your farmers.

I am posting them on a different char

So you think i should start farming in twilight highlands or somewhere else? Maybe try other ways of earning gold :)

You most likely got an auto ban. You set off a triggered ban for trading so much gold. Appeal and rejoice.

What's wrong with Uldum? I've been mining and herbing there for about 6 months or more without as much as a whisper.

There are by far the most bots. Accordingly to my experience, about 50-75% of all level 85's there bot. It's quite obvious. Have you ever tried farming honor by killing bots? Just stand at a node and laugh at the amount of bots your server have.

New mail after my ticket:..

Greetings,

Your WoW account [Censored] was permanently suspended due to use of third party programs, which is against the Terms of Use ( Blizzard Entertainment: Battle.net Terms of Use
), the relevant part of which can be found in capital letters in Chapter 17 entitled Acknowledgements, and states:

"When running, the World of Warcraft client may monitor your computer's random access memory (ram) and/or cpu processes for unauthorized third party programs running concurrently with World of Warcraft. An "unauthorized third party program" as used herein shall be defined as any third party software, including without limitation any "addon" or "mod," that in Blizzard Entertainment's sole determination:

I. enables or facilitates cheating of any type;

II. allows users to modify or hack the World of Warcraft interface, environment, and/or experience in any way not expressly authorized by Blizzard Entertainment; or

III. intercepts, "mines," or otherwise collects information from or through World of Warcraft. In the event that World of Warcraft detects an unauthorized third party program, Blizzard may

a) communicate information back to blizzard entertainment, including without limitation your account name, details about the unauthorized third party program detected, and the time and date the unauthorized third party program was detected; and/or

b) exercise any or all of its rights under section 6 of this agreement, with or without prior notice to the user."

The use of such programs or files is clearly unfair to the World of Warcraft community playing regularly and is not tolerated on our servers.

Following a review of your case, we can confirm that such program has been used but decided to overturn the account closure to a temporary suspension which will last for 72 hours now. Please note, it is necessary for you to log into the game after the suspension has passed; this will update the status of your account displayed on the Account Management page.

Please also note that should any further violations of our Rules and Policies occur, this incident will be taken into consideration when determining the consequences to your account. This could include further warnings, account suspension or account termination.

If you wish to review our current Rules and Policies, they can be found at:
