Permanent band for Speed hack and teleporting?

Because of this program.. i have even called in and they told me they cannot really do anything about my ban

^^ this and I suspect the latter.
This isn't botting related, this is hack related which is quite likely the easiest way to get banned.

Sorry, but without more details of your specific situation (what you botted, how long each day, what profiles in particular, what was going on in the day(s) previous to your ban, whether you used other software or Wow modifications other than botting, whether you sold gold at all), it is impossible for us to qualify your statement that 'this program' caused the loss of your toons.

AND reguardless - you are an adult (ok, I'm assuming a little there) and are responsible for your own actions. YOU bought the program, YOU read the risk, YOU botted your toons, YOU are responsible for the loss of your toons, not 'this program'. When someone takes a gun and shoots someone in a robbery attempt, do you blame the gun or the person wielding it?

Soooo... that being said... care to elaborate in what happened so we can all learn from your experience?

its okay guys i called up my friend from california who is a gm.. he fixed my problem... because he knows me and knows that i wouldnt bot.. so he changed my email and password assuming it was a hacker messin with my account
i think it mighta been a hacker too bc i was teleporting anywere or speed hacking.. idk how D:

If you have a personal friend that is a GM, you could provide a much better service than individual needs. I wonder if you could use it to very subtely get some info as to what they look for and how they do it. Even partial info would be far more than we have now since we currently pretty much operate just by speculation.

I'm sure they work under some form of non-disclosure agreement but if he we just telling a friend and you were to put that info in a location where only verified members could see it (maybe a forum only for those that have verified purchases?)... Just thinking out loud.

Just wait a good couple of months to a year and then use the automated "I got hacked" web note system on battlenet.

na, i've disputed it too many times when it originally got banned

Sounds like me Kick. I will bet I have about 30-40 total tickets from disputing the account I lost in the Pirox Archy ban. I think they got pissed off. I got tagged on my other account on that bnet as a first time offense for posting a tad too many things on the AH, and they refuse to even look at it for me.

I just started a new bnet account and now up to 30 on a new warrior. lol

It costs nothing to try, but like i said I had to wait a long time.
I tried at 3 months and then 6 months and fianlly it work at 11months.
Not emails or calls, as I had been ban for legit reasons and I had tried calling and emailing to get it unban.
I just used the "I got hacked" webnote and I got an email back saying it has been to long for us to see what happened... so here is your account.

After reading this thread I decided to call em and say I wanted to start playing on my account that got banned back during early-tbc. It's about 4 years ago, and they are going to try to give it back if they can (Because it's so old).

K guys hoping that people will still read this.. i talked to my friend and he really only told me that the biggest way they find things is when people get reported... because they only have about 100 gm's and 16 million players to work with so they really only go in and look at what players are doing when they get reported.. or when they talk about stuff in game.. bc they will have things that pick up when u say bot or like cheat and hack and they will have a gm look at it to see if anything is going on

Chances are they have dropped auto-trigger for bot for that reason... but I personally will still be careful about what I say in game... even 'privately'
