Permanent Ban! First one ever. I know why. Can anyone help?

Overnight, probably like ~8ish hours a day.

0% . This is the reason why I'm banned. I know.

None. 0 .

8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods?
No, none.

9)Was your account involved in gold selling?
Nope.

What is the best way to ask them to get my account back? I'm going to call them. I have an authenticator on my account... So I'm trying to figure out the best way to bullshit them.

You have an authenticator? better tell them the truth, you dont have much wiggle room.

Theres really not much I can say haha, you did the thing with the highest banrate then added a tool to prevent you from ever being able to claim it was anyone else.

Hopefully it wasnt your main account....but I have a feeling it was.

Strip me of everything, just let me back. I know what I did was wrong, I reread all the TOS and the other information and try to ask for forgiveness under this first offense.

I would pray for a compassionate GM, maybe itll get reversed, this time. its really up to the person with the power to unban you.

I just don't know how to word it. I know botting is bad, and they say it hurts the economy, but honestly I was helping my server. We're a low pop server with 3 or 4 people manipulating the materials. I would sell herbs and ore cheap, and allow people to get material easily. I guess I got carried away.

Yes it was my main account. Lost 45,000g , 90 pally (main , 490 ilvl) , 90 dk , 90 mage 90 monk, 85 priest, 85 rogue.

They did not lift the ban. I submitted a ticket. No dice. Time to start from the bottom. First ban ever, this sucks.

maybe you could say the server population was extremely low and there is never enough herbs on the ah so you have to farm everything your self and you got sick of it so you started to bot. I would ask if they would merge servers or somethign to divert the conversation away from bottnig and have him start to like you and see your a likable guy who just did somethign stupid because your hand was forced by the oppressive machine . rephrase something to that effect IMO

Im still not seeing how you coudl say anything other than I did it with an authenticator, changing your story is just going to make you less likable to whoever is reviewing your case :/

I don't think Blizz is very sympathetic at the moment. GL getting it back, you never know but from reading here, other places and my own recent experience it's unlikely you'll get it back. Just annoy them with tickets about it on a daily basis

I asked if my account was locked, temporarily banned, or permanently banned the first time. and explained how i couldnt log in

Rude as in telling people they probably wont get their accounts back and that GB is a sure fire way to get banned?

I dont know maybe its a little annoying that people keep getting banned for something that has a reputation as a seriously dangerous thing to do, just troll the forums a bit and itll be quite clear.

At any rate, im trying to be helpful o hopefully that wasnt aimed at me, either way good luck but dont hold your breath!

So I had 2 accounts. WoW1 and WoW2 on my battle.net account. Last night, a player reported my WoW2 account. I wasn't botting / haven't botted on him. But I received the 202 error account closure and an e-mail saying

Last week I had my two bot's banned. I appealed both, got one back but no dice on the other. Both used GB about the same amount, the only difference is the account I got back also had a full set of S13 and LFR gear while the other just had quest gear from leving. Not sure if this might be a factor right now or not. If GB/HB was detectible there would be no hope on any account so my feeling is something is triggering these bans. Maybe nods per hour/day player reports, time playing ect. To me it looks like blizz is banning blind assuming botters will not appeal, and if they do they then they take a look at the account. If it looks like you play they will un-ban, if you look like a total bot then their system worked.
