Perma Banned twice

So I was perma-banned for "hacking", appealed and got it back, got banned again, appealed once more and got it back. I'm just wondering how long i should lay low for before I start botting again.
 
You should take some time and review how you're botting, so maybe you can last longer.
 
are you on a SOR account? most people that get banned here are on sor account mostly im stil fine and also did you used bgbuddy to mutch thats risky
 
I used Gatherbuddy 2, I know I botted for a bit too long (almost 3days straight ;P), but I was just wondering whether or not there is a "parole" period in which blizzard will monitor an account that has been recently banned and how long that period is.

To answer your question on what I used to appeal, I studied the Terms of service for quite a bit and just quoted/cited and turned it into some mumbo jumbo arguement as to why they should unban me etc. (Always been good at lawyer stuff).
 
No, I'm not on a SOR account. Out of curiosity do SOR accounts have a higher chance to get banned?
 
When I got my Alt account perma banned the first time all I did was send in two appeals (after they closed the first one) going off about how it is in my name just like my main account and how that I ONLY use it for material gathering. Because it is an alt account and I have no real interest in doing more with it aside from transmog here and there. Which worked, but now Im banned again...same reason, third party software. I know I botted a little too long yesterday (around 2pm-1-2am or something) and then I just started up again around 8am or so this morning doing something completely different. Then out of no where I get disconnected and locked out : /

This time I'm writing an angrier appeal about how ridiculous this is and how they fucked up last time and gave me account back once they realized it. Plus I plan on calling them and doing a little fake nerd raging.

And they didnt take action on your main account after appeal?
 
My main account got a 72hr ban only after botting on my other gathering toon that got stuck sitting at a vendor for over an hour. Which is pretty obvious because HB has had a problem with constantly resending requests to open said vendors and i'm sure that was a red flag. Other than that I've not had any other actions taken against me with my main account. I also play a lot since I still dont have a job so I'm on for long periods of time throughout the week at weird hours. Plus I lead a guild and raid a lot as well.

Also it seems that these more public profiles depending on what they are for may be the culprit for getting bans and such. I'll end up redoing my own profiles again. Probably wont release them for a long time, but thats if I can even get my alt account back. I'd hate to lose both accounts because blizz is getting better at picking out the botters. Honestly I haven't done much different since I first started botting over a year ago with HB and only now I am getting bans. May just be due to this xpac and so many things have changed, can't say for sure.

That's good to know, I was debating on whether or not I should appeal my alt account ban, because I didn't want them to look into it and ban on my main, but it seems that the consensus is: If they didn't ban your main at the same time they probably won't
