Yeah, never had any issues on this account before. Never had a 72-hour either, just straight to perma ban. If it matters, I was logged into the game just talking with a few friends, and I started up honorbuddy which told me it had an update. I updated it to the most recent version and it auto restarted. I logged into HB and then instantly got kicked from wow with the terminated message. Interesting. I have been logged off all day since sometime last night.

On question 1 you said you used GB. Than you say you mostly use Tyrael. I would think that you used GB just enough for Blizz to notice you. Time of the ban in most cases is not related to the actual time of the offense.
Anyways, appeal and you should reduce it to 72h. After that is done, think if the account is worth risking again. If they catch you again. Its gone for good. More GB will get you banned early or later. With Tyrael you should be fairly safe. However, if your combat routine is doing something really odd, disable it.

Question 1 I answered I used both; and I do mostly use tyrael. Over the past few days I have been using Gatherbuddy2, which is something I have not used since cata. In any case I appealed the action about 5 min after the closure. I'll post back what happens.

Well provided I do indeed get it reduced, I will ONLY run Tyrael with it and no automated stuff anymore.

Tyrael can also get you banned again. But you can decrease the chance. Don't grind with it. Disable every combat routine option that looks bot-like to you...and you should be safe.

Anyhow I'm well aware of the risks we all take when we run a program like this. I've been botting in games for a very long time and I have managed to avoid most of the banwaves and such. Everyone's luck runs out at some point in time. Shit happens, and if I don't get it reversed I'll just move on to something else.

No one should make a thread in here and cry about being banned; or blame Honorbuddy staff. We all know what could happen

Just wanted to post an update, appealed and within a day it was reduced to a 72 hour suspension. It would appear Blizzard would rather warn you and give you a second chance vs. perma ban on first offense. Seems to me the prefer your money each month Back in the day they had no worries about banning someone upon first offense/suspicion.

Lesson learned: First time offense on an account, appeal and get it reduced to 72 hour ban.

Well i got 2 ovensives appealed and redused to 72 hours And still botting even to the fact that i know they will monitor me on an player report i don't care
