Mail from blizzard:
Action: Closure - World of Warcraft License
Violation: Unapproved Third Party Software

Blizzard will take action against any players using third party programs, which operate outside the World of Warcraft software, to gain an advantage in the game. This software may include increasing movement or teleportation hacks, automating gameplay, or other changes that subvert the mechanics or design of the game. This can also include programs that obtain information not normally available to the regular player, or that transmit or modify any of the game files.

Normally, this classification does not include UI modifications or addons, except those UIs that require an external application to function.
The above game license has been closed following this violation of the World of Warcraft Code of Conduct and Terms of Use: (http://www.blizzard.com/company/legal/wow_tou.html). As the account holder, you are responsible for the activity associated with this game license. The abuse that took place was an unacceptable detriment to other players, the integrity of the game world, and the quality of our service as a whole.

Closure extends to all characters and their associated property on the above license. Blizzard will not transfer or otherwise compensate any subscription time, purchases, or in-game value lost as a result of this closure.

Can this be appealed ? If yes, how and what should I write ? Can this be changed into a 72 hours ban like the others have ? how ?

First time this happens too me.

Blizzard can take any action they feel necessary whether it be permanent or 72 hours. You can appeal and either admit you were botting and ask for forgiveness or play it dumb and say you have no clue what they're talking about. Both can be successful but in short I wouldn't bot 1-600 professions or any form of gold making (gathering). The ban chance clearly shown is too high.

I recommend you only bot levelling, dungeons and raids. (Only when present at the computer) Done this for years still no warning / ban.
