Perma-ban Recovered

Buddies,

Received my first ban after almost 4 years of HB experience, with an additional few years with MMO Glider back in the day. I run 1 bot with 1 account, pretty casually. Lately, I've really been pushing it with probably a little more than 16 hours a day, few breaks, and at least 50% afk. I've done worse for longer.

Realistically, I was done in by 1 of 2 things.

1. I've been running a lot of GB2 farming ore and herbs- If I'm AFK, I set the timer for 2 hours and let it log off. If I'm there, I'll manually put things in the auction house once the bags get close to full with a farm running for up to 4 hours. Profile is Trollasaurasrex's VoFW. 10/10; would bang. Two nights in a row, I unintentionally left ARelog running, so HB ran all night. I found people buying in bulk and sold via CoD (first time ever doing this). The second night was when I received the ban email.

2. I've been running thebrodieman's MoP Experience which is also a necessity if you haven't experimented with it yet. In the Cloud Serpent dailies, the profile prompts User to be careful, because it takes off early on the race (which is technically cheating), but I ignored that warning and let it cheat to win twice.

It is most likely the excessive farm that got me, but since I can't say for sure, I think it's prudent to mention the serpent race.

Account Closure notice reads as follows

This account was closed because one or more characters were identified using an unauthorized cheat program, also known as a ""hack."" These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harm the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and supersede the intended limits of the game.

Later in the day, I changed my PW, and ticketed saying (paraphrased) "My account had been compromised some time ago, but I ignored it since I was not currently playing any Wow. Since I got a ban email, I'd like to get everything straightened out." Control of my account was restored within an hour.

I think that's everything. I'll update if I realize I left out anything else that's relevant.

wish i handled it that way, just got the ticket answered back, perma stays closed.
