***Notice of Account Closure***

Account Name: WOW5

Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Abuse of the Economy

I botted about 18 hours a day for almost 2 month with no problem using BG profile (leveled 5 char to 85). Recently, I needed fast cash so I farmed mats over night with my druid and listed them all on the AH (really dumb idea as I knew the risks involved of being auto-flagged). I'll probably appeal it sometime this week but I'm wondering did anyone have tips on what I should say via phone/email? I'd like to include this was an instant perm ban with out warning 24 or 72 hours warning.

PS: I have another banned wow account linked to my b.net account from the archeology ban-wave of Pirox Bot nearly a year ago. (since it's a 3rd party detection ban I doubt I can get it back, but I might also try to appeal this at the same time).

I've seen many people get their acc back after economy abuse but It'll be a lot harder for me to justify a constant 18 hours a day activity :S

I am in a similar position and on the hold with Blizzard now. The only thing I would assume is best is to appeal right away. If you were a real player and got banned out of nowhere, you wouldn't wait a few days to bring it up, you would be shocked and call/create a ticket right away.

Although, I too am curious what is best to say. I don't know if I should pretend I got hacked or say I farmed all day and/or did a marathon with a friend. I did about 8 hours (my thread is above). I guess it wasn't a bot detection since they said it was economy stuff. But, to come to think of it, I did put up a lot of stuff on the AH to clear my bags as I was leveling professions. Maybe it raised a flag. But a perma ban from putting things on the AH... really?

Best of luck to appeal man, let me know of the results after the call if possible.

I'll call them too if you're successful ^^

So for u two:
u get ALWAYS a standard mail from blizzard that u abuse the economy ;) its an automatical message :)
Appeal it fast enough when u see it, no "fair" player would wait one day or only 3 hours or so... all normal players will talk to blizz and appeal it right when they see that they are banned...

so what u can tell blizz/write blizz:

One Way: Say them that u was farming for getting fast gold for something like a Ragnaros HC Kill AC or so for much gold, so thats why u farm so long so often so much.

My Way when i got 6 Accounts banned and get them back (but rember: i call them after i think 5 minutes that i got banned):

What the hell, i was farming, get kicked out of the game and than i must read that i got banned? Could u tell me whats going on here???

Blizz: Oh we dont know, but i will check some things

*now the hotlinesupport will look at ur account, Things like:
-What IP?s where connected to your Account
-Perhabs some paymant issus

thats all what he can do

Blizz: I dont see here anything wrong with ur Account, cant tell u why u got banned. Could it be that u run some illigal Programms?

You: No i never use anything thats not allowed, only Addons and such things

Blizz: Ok, than i would ask u to open a Ticket, so that a Gamemaster could look at ur Account and make a Check on it

Now u have 2 Options:
1. You can say: Ok i will write
or
2. You say them that u want NOW an answer, so he will mute u and he will talk directly to a Gamemaster and check up whats going on :)

So in both ways, if this was ur first Issue/Ban:
NOrmally all perm banns get to an 72h ban :)

But remind: NEVER BOT IN ULDUM ;) THEY WATCHING U :D

Yeah, I opened a ticket and then called RIGHT AWAY. Although, they said they couldn't really help me on the phone and I had to open a ticket. Good thing I did that as well.

Honestly, I NEVER had an issue with getting banned for this. The first night I use an Uldum profile and BAM. Honestly, if you look at most of the people's reports, they were in Uldum. I also saw way more bots there. If I get my account back, I am going right back to 6 hours monitored only and Twilight Highlands.

I am still waiting for my ticket to be answered. I really hope they get to it tonight.

Same thing happened to me, after I was answered on the phone they representative couldn't help me so he referred me to the account department ticket. I simply wrote "the customer service support sent me here" in the ticket along with the option "appeal ban / suspended acc" checked.

This morning, woke up with:
