Tonight I was perma banned while botting fishing, I'm going to paste the entire conversation to give light that being apologetic in your appeal is better than claiming you were hacked.

My appeal:
Good evening,
I would first like to begin by offering my most sincere apologies to the World of Warcraft community as well as the Account Administration team. I recently came back to the game via Scroll of Resurrection and I was eager to get back into the game; I felt as if I was very far behind on gear, enchants, gold, and professions. I in fact was not aware that my actions were against Blizzard's policies as I have never taken the time to read them. Looking back on my actions I realize now that they were foolish and I regret them greatly. Awaiting your reply and decision I will familiarize myself with these policies so that I may follow through when I say right now that such violations will never occur again. If you look back into my account history, I am a long time subscriber and my account has always been in good standing as far as I am aware. I ask the World of Warcraft Account Administration for understanding with this issue; in return I will understand if your decision is not to lift my ban. Again I wish to express my deep regret and apologize for my actions; I understand that my actions were wrong and I am willing to accept the consequences. Thank your time reading my appeal.
Respectfully,
******
