So this morning when I logged on I had a perma ban, not surprised at all, I was actually expecting it when I logged in. It was my main account with all my hand leveled characters that I used to raid on. I can honestly say I am not as mad as I thought I'd be.
I botted almost everyday for the past couple months with a few exceptions for random amounts of time, some exceeding 24 hours, using Insane Uldum Mining and W00ts Twilight Highlands mainly, however I also botted on 3 other accounts that are safe as of now, sold gold off of one of the accounts and that one is fine too. I checked up on my bot after 2-3 classes if I was in school or was usually around it all the time if I was home. Had all the proper plugins and what not.
When I received it I waited til after school to call, when I called I played innocent and the guy said I was hacked and just had to input a GM ticket, when I got it though they wouldn't reverse it even though they said I was hacked...weird but it is what it is, with botting comes consequences, luckily I just leveled up a warrior on a fresh account and will be leveling probably a priest/hunter as well...maybe a Shaman.
Ultimately I am kinda happy, my previous mains were a Druid/DK and I had em on different factions, with stuff I missed to do and not a lot of achievement points, starting over with a more entertaining class should be fun. LUCKILY my bank alt with all the gold and the guild bank is on another account so my gold is untouched. I found a guild that is selling me H FL and H DS gearing runs for a reasonable price so I can easily gear up new toons as I level them. To be completely honest, my main account I put time into was the only thing holding me back from going 24/7 (with a few breaks) botting and selling gold and just goin hardcore, now that it is gone, I have nothing to lose...as I gain gold I will sell it and as accounts start to reach the 3-4 month area I will sell em, cycle of WoW.
