perm ban into -> 72 suspension

been botting 12-16 hours for three days when i got this: ***Notice of Account Closure***
Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Abuse of the Economy

im a new botter, and never been banned before, so didnt know how to react.

did account recovery - identified it was my account / acted clueless
sent mail acting clueless + provided picture ID

responce:

a GM cancelled my mail ticket

and wrote this:
Account Action: 72 Hour Suspension Final Warning
Type of Violation: Exploitation
Category of Violation: Third Party Program
Character Name Involved: ********

however would like to get rid of it, also ask if i should ever bot with this acc again?
especially since there is valuable stuff on it.. (but not my main)

Edit: i suspect they pick up on mails, i had GB setup to mail a particular alt, could this be it?
if so is there a way to get GB to put stuff into the bank instead?

20-30 mails im guessing - only put some low lvl herbs i had from lvling on AH from that char(maybe 30 posts, but pennies worth in gold).
the cata herbs was all sent to my alchemist, put stuff on ah from two diff accs with no relation (other than IP) to the bot acc.

Edit: i?d love to find out how they pick up on my botting, so i can dodge it.
is it all the mails, or something else?
proxy bot an option worth considering?

Im not exactly sure how they catch you, But from all the ban reports I have read lately. They mainly all have 2 things in common, AH, or mailing herds/ores ect from GB to an alt.
I my self dont use GB or any profession leveling or even flood AH, I only post about 10 things max ever 2-3 days. Im not sure if those are the reasons why you get banned so dont take my word for it.
 
I mail hundreds of stacks of ore/herbs every day and haven't had anything happen to the account that the stuff gets mailed to.

I never said that was the soul reason, I said from what ive been reading they look linked. But cant say that for sure so dont take my word for it lol.
 
No definite recipe for what gets people banned and what does not. Use common sense.
 
The main reason for people getting banned seems to be flooding AH. But you haven't, so I'm curious...

Where have you been botting?

well i got the bot online after purchase, download the profile i needed and started in hyjal the first night, spend proably equivalent to two nights in vashj and one night in uldum.

i botted 3 nights in a row, on day 4 i was caught during afternoon (went to go shop)
is this too much time?
should i only bot at night?
 
I just got hit with the ban hammer, i had been farming for a week 20 hours a day and sending the ore to another player by COD, guess opening trade face to face would be best? Lucky i got kicked/Banned when i was at the pc. Guess ill make another account to bot from.
