Perils or transfeing a bots to new accounts?

Hey all,

I've bought a second account for a new gatherer. I was thinking about transferring a 62 alt to the new account (they are both under the same BNET) and starting a DK to be a gather bot.

Is this stupid?

Has anyone done this before? Any ban stories where they banned an account you transfered a bot to?

i think some people have had things happen, but they had previous suspensions and bans. If your acct is clean you shouldnt have a problem.

Heres what ive learned about linked bnet accounts and bans.

If you have 2 accounts on the bnet account, if one is suspected of botting/selling/flooding, they will ban it, if the other account is clean and you dont bot/sell/etc, then they wont ban you on the second as well. But only sometimes do they investigate both accounts most of the time they do not.
