People (or better noobs?) are getting more inventive

hehe... i am talking every day with GM'S like him :p
 
It is my first time, but i always check people from here getting messages like that hehe
But i wonder how he did the break in his sentence.... any idea?

6 bots running...imagine the GMs I talk to :).

Hell they even have the same name on diferent servers ;)). I shit you not....I've had the same person(name) whisper me with that useless crap for a few days now on two servers.

Anywayz....if you are still in game after getting one of those whispers....then its fake.
Only "real whisper" is the one in your email....you know the one that says you are really banned and when you try to login you cry a bit cuz you just lost at least one farmer.
 
I'm playing WoW for about 4 years now and i never got a message like that ^^
 
Get that all the time on my priest on high pop realm. Although my chat box is not normal lenght so the gm thingy is in the same line as the Hi! Message
 
And really not clever to say that i am banned, because i was still on :P
If they just had written something like: If you don?t visit this link in the next hour you gonna be banned, it would be more trustable :D

Quite simple.

<DND>[Abrie2010]whispers: Hello! [Game Master]GM:Your World of Warcraft account has been .... etc. etc. they don't actually break into the Sentences all they do is just use the keys right next to the "P" on your keyboard. Well on a US keyboard anyways.
 
Get the addon "give me peace". It will block any whispers by people not on your friendslist/guild/GM :).
 
Looks like a scam whisper.
If you are playing on a german server a german gm never would talk in english to you and never tell you about crap like that.
The chinese (or who ever) scamming bastards talk english, so ignore them.

Furthermore sometimes I say "ellow" or "hellow" or "hello" instead of "hallo".
It's just fun, like you english guys say "I are lazy" or something like that. :P
 
It is a scam, they are trying to get you to give them ur user/pass, i have received this whisper aswell.

i also got several already, but the frist time i just got Oo cause it was very funny, sadly i believe many ppl fall for this... but on the bright side, this way blizz got more trouble to focus besides our bots... >D
 
I got them all the time as well. There is also a guy on my server spamming guild invites i have had to /ignore him on 3 of my toons. it gets really annoying
 
Bah, I used to do this in guild chat years ago "Pretending" to make people speak and so on, old trick.
 
Believe me, if they are risking get the account banned, they have people who fall on this.
 
Im getting spammed all the time with that.. and just yesterday i got one witch has a GM logo outside his name.. so i ask him how the heck he got that.. and he said a script..

BTW... A Gm will NEVER wisp your ban to you! rember that

and if a gm need to talk to you,, he would send a request to you that you have to click on to start convasation
