Someone posted something earlier today on reddit about warden doing a scan and to stop botting. I figured tripwire would keep us safe and thought the dude was kidding but ban reports are starting to pop up now. Should we stop botting or are these possibly related to the last tripwire?
 
can confirm my best friend was just banned. all he used was this bot too. devs/mods, this bot should be put on hold for the time being.
 
my friend ONLY plays non-season and uses this and turbohud only. nothing else. very weird because last banwave was only against seasonal players
 
Yep. I got banned.

Now I can watch a movie, read a book, go out with friends, and have a life. Wonderful!

and why would that help?

looks like this banwave was related to about when the last tripwire was reported.

my account looks like it's still standing for now though.
 
I hope this isn't related to the last tripwire because the devs said there was nothing to worry about with that tripwire. If that's the case it seems like warden may actually be getting all the evidence it needs to ban us before the tripwire even happens and they're doing the bans in odd waves such as seasonal and now non seasonal to throw off the devs into thinking that their tripwire is working. The fact that some random dude was warning about warden scanning today and then the bans start makes me think that maybe they've found a way around tripwire? I have 4 lifetime DB keys and I would have no problem with the devs taking us offline for a few days to really get a good look at what warden is capable of now. We have to remember that blizzard is a multi billion dollar company and if they've finally decided to drop some cash on beefing up warden, we should at least be careful.
 
For those that got banned --- how long do you bot per day? Or do you just keep it going 24/7 with no pauses ?
 
Three of my accounts got banned. My wd was finally top 50 world's..
Guess I deserved it :p
 
Oh I have luck... My account seems to have Survived :D (Season)
 
I bot 24/7 since about 2 weeks into season paragon 15** on all my accounts im still alive no bans. Not on leader boards though not sure if that makes a difference or not but seems like it does to me
 
i didnt got banned neither on my 4 accounts but i gues i stop for aweek or 2 since the s6 is over anyways soon
 
Started botting Season 5 24/7, 50% way through it. New account.
Botting 24/7 non season since then.

Not banned.
4 accounts.
 
i got banned too.
Only used bot through the night while im sleeping.
Only for 6 hours per day.
I guess someone at my friendslist reported me...=/
 
got banned today, havent botted for 3 weeks now, but before that I botted 24/7. The last days I pushed manually to Top50 EU season HC, and this must have raised their attraction to check my acc. RIP
