So, since I am waiting for GM respond I tried to make a little overlook about my bot station.

Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ /2.6GHz, 1MB, 65W, BOX, AM2+/
Motherboard: AsRock M3A770DE /AMD 770, DDR3 1333/
RAM: GoodRam 4GB (2x2GB) 800MHz CL5
HDD: Samsung 500GB 7200rpm 16MB cache SATA-II F3
Graphic card: Asus Radeon HD4650 1024MB DDR2 /128bit/ DVI HDMI

All should cost about ~400$, any advice?

i got a similar one for 350$ (except ram is 4x1gb)

you also have to make sure you get a few other things... heatsink/fan, case, optical drive(s), power supply

my new one (just got it in today!! woot woot)

is: 3.0ghz dual core cpu / mobo (gigabyte) - AMD
4x1gb ddr3
hdd: 500gb
gfx: ATI HD4830 512MB DDR3
case + HUGE heatsink (6 inchx4inch) with fan on side
optical drive + inscribe on it
550w power supply

i /console maxfps 25
/console maxfpsbk 20

but it didn't need it. it ran 1 wow (low settings) at around 300 fps, maximum/high everything at over 100 fps (this is for 1 of course)

atm its running 6x wow's on low (5xgb + 1xhb) with 60% cpu usage, 73% memory usage - win 7 x64
i can probably disable some things on win7 and get its base memory usage down from 23%-25% (before wow's are open)... this comp can probably run 12x wow's bottlenecking the memory

Here is the setup I got recently. From Newegg, It can run 9 bots easy. I've OC'd the Processor to 3.2 Ghz with the stock heatsink and it still runs under 50 degrees Celsius. The Bios that come with the Asrock mobo make it VERY easy to overclock your processor aswell. Over all its been a great system and cost $414 total shipped.

yes, electronics in europe are expensive as hell... try newegg or tigerdirect and have them ship overseas... or find an overseas merchant that doesn't cost an arm and a leg ... or use ebay for europeans

im going to say probably not... but if you get a european company, they may ofer a deal like that. I know tigerdirect will ship to my APO, AE for free :)

I built a computer off Tigerdirect.com with a M4N78 Asus mainboard and a Phenom 9850 X4 with 4gb ram and a 9800gt for around 450 last month. I can run multiple wows and play prototype on max settings.

I got a
Core i7 @ 3,36 GHZ
12 GB DDR3 Ram
650 W PS
2x 640gb HDD in Raid System

I can run up to 50 WoWs on this comp

power gamer ftw =) im sure u paid a pretty penny for it too :)

1,500€ but only because i bought a Tower for 150€ and got like 6 Fans in this comp (since the comp is overclocked i need good cooling system)

But run some GB's and such a comp is paid very fast, you just need some money to invest :)

Bullshit.
12GB DDR3 means nothing. What's the speed and cache?
640gb HDD in Raid means nothing. SSID is way faster
No videocard? Goodjob
650W. Oh my god, it's almost 9000

My PC btw:

Processor: intel core I7 920
Memory: OCZ reaper 6 gb 1666 mhz
Hard Drive: 150 gb velociraptor
Video Card: Radeon 5870
Motherboard: Asus P6T

With all the extra crap, Sennheiser pc 350, 24" monitor, HAF932 case the total costs were around 1200 euro.
I usually run 5 WoW clients on high, never tried any more.

EDIT:
Just read your price, way overpriced lol. You must have an awesome case while I paid 120 euro for one of the best cases avaible

EDIT2:
3,3ghz overclocked? Buy a better cpu cooler for 20 euro and you can run 4ghz easily like I have

exactly. for someone with a lot of bots you need a lot of power! my little $350 usd comp will support 12 or more wow's ... which is enough for me until my paypal has a ton of cash in it -- currently im using the money to pay off my debts + pay for car + ins + school ... etc

this can easily pay for your college tuition and books guys :)

Numbers:
tuition (jr. college) $50/hour
15 hours/semester = 750$/semester + books (legally obtained) $50-$150 ... some eBooks you can find on torrent sites for free (illegally)
so lets say the legal way... you pay 750 for tuition, $500 for books... $1250 USD - you can make this in a month with 6 bots ... and you can keep your normal job for house + car + etc. so now its just your time that you need for college, as botting can be your "2nd income"

now back on topic - computers, you can also buy (a) powerhouse computer(s) to run more bots and then buy more bots + more gb lifetimes + more time cards

1200 Euro is roughly 1700 USD. well worth a powerhouse computer for more bots (and then you can sell your old one on eBay or to friends, or whatever)

Sure in benchmarks you could "open" 50 WOW's with that computer but I guarantee it wouldn't be functional, and even if it was you'd have to have a fairly fast internet connection to support 50 wow clients on one line.

ah here we go... official blizz http://eu.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_GB&articleId=19401

How much bandwidth does World of Warcraft use?

Here are the average download and upload rates that World of Warcraft uses when you play the game:

* 6 Kb/s Download = 360 Kb/min = 21 600 Kb/h = 21.09 Mb/hour
* 3 Kb/s upload = 180 Kb/min = 10 800 Kb/h = 10.54 Mb/hour

Please remember that these are only average figures and might change when the you turn in quests and perform similar operations within the game, that requires more data to be sent to and from your computer.

so 6kb/s x 50 = 300 kb/s down, 150 kb/s up ... well within your limit for isp

6mbit connection (standard for a lot of ppl ... or 5mbit for some)

6000mbit = 750 kb/s down (my connection)

750-300 = 450 kb/s left (well within latency issues popping up)
up is around 280-300 kb/s give or take ... 300 - 150 = 150 kb/s left

thats for average. take into acct other players near you ... npcs, etc. fluctuate some... your biggest "bang" will be logging in your 50 accts.

remember... Data =) -- now thats a basic DSL line... most europeans have a higher vdsl... 16-50 mbit/sec

lol man
be happy with your system.
for what i need a good video card? - for nothing.
i got one of the best overclock ddr3 sticks on the market.

And yes SSD is better but hf paying xxx$ for a 128gb SSD where you can install only few WoW's - good job really.

i use Noctuas U12P cpu coolers they are good enough

I use this PC just for botting and nothing else.

i can also open 50 WoWs not just with benchmarks, if you want i can make a screenshot later.

And yes i got a fast internet connection (VDSL 50)

Do you actualy run 50 wow's frequently on the comp? didnt think so....

Why do you guys go for such large botting rigs....

I am currently running 3 bots using the following
Cant remember the exact specs (not at home) but they are fairly close to:
Intel Core 2 1.86GHz
2GB DDR2 RAM
100gig HDD
some POS GPU

it cost me sub $400 (Auz) a few years ago and is still going strong. I ramp down the graphics and have jack all running in the background and have 0 issues with it.

Do I play WoW on this? Nope but its not meant for me, its meant for my bots.

It just seems retarded to have such a good comp and not utilize it fully. It would be like giving the postie a ferrari 458 :S
