An effective way to level from 1-600 in Engineering and Mining.

Currently Supports:
Horde 1-600
Alliance 1-600



What this profile will do for you:


  • It will level your Mining and Engineering with minimal interaction.

YOU MUST HAVE THESE ITEMS IN YOUR BAG TO START THE PROFILE

  • 20x Linen Cloth
  • 4x Moss Agate
  • 60x Wool Cloth
  • 15x Medium Leather
  • 20x Mageweave Cloth
  • 21x Runecloth
  • 30x-40x Netherweave Cloth
  • 10x Frostweave Cloth
  • 20x Embersilk Cloth
  • 4x Alicite
  • 50x Volatile Earth
  • 50x Volatile Air
  • 90x Windwool Cloth



What this profile will not do:


  • Purchase from the AH
  • Farm just the mats to level the profession without using them

Future additions:

  • Farming for "Profession" kits
  • Purchase items from AH instead of farming them

If you are experiencing issues and would like to report a bug.
1. Move your character to your factions main city Orgrimmar or Stormwind.
2. In the profile settings for --Engineering-- .xml displayed above turn Debug, Mining Debug and Mats List to true.
3. Also set reset to true, as soon as you start the profile it will swap to false. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN.
4. Now if the bot still experiences issues, upload a full log file for me to view. (How to Attach You Log)
5. If you do not follow these steps I will more than likely skip your post.

Got it running now. Looks pretty smooth. It is farming copper ore :). Which gets me to this suggestion:

Would it be possible to add a shopping list in your post for what it is gonna farm? That way mats could be bought and just use the profile to craft the stuff?

Edit: and also place a line in the info panel if that is possible: like "farming till we have xx of xx ore" so we know what it is doing? Not sure if that is hard but it would be a great adjustment!
 
It just hit mining 75 (maxed out for the level) and it kept mining, with 246 copper ore and 228 rough stone in it's bags. Just did a stop & start and now it is moving to Orgrimmar.
 
It is now stuck at "Craft-O-Matic:Crafting Copper Bolts Until we have 30". It forgets to buy a blacksmithing hammer!

Can you toggle reset in the profile to true and see If that fixes it.

If you turn on both debugs in the profile it will say what it is doing

just realized i had committed an old version to SVN and not the correct one....Checking if i can recover it.
 
Believe I got it fixed, update from svn to correct my mistake. .zip has not been corrected yet.

80% of these forums are alliance, If you can manage to make an alliance profile it would help out so much better! but good work here sir! contact me if you are able to convert this!
 
Won't take much to do it just need more than 1 alliance toon and have not had the time to RAF them all up yet
 
i will no wait 1 week but i can try with another char later ;)
its possible to up the profession with auction house only ? I buy all.

no because i don't have the craft portion of it coded either.
 
Nice! Waiting for the full one ) 1-600. Thanks alot.

Stack at 1-60. Trying to buy new recipes.
 
For me it moves to outland to take the portal back to ogrimar, and then repeats that endlessly
