PB Create Mysterious Fortune Card from Herbs & Sell

hey guys this profile was orginaly created by I3ig Al, so thank you for a great start

what it does goes to SW mailbox and gets herbs
mills all herbs & creates inks
buys Parchment when more needed
and creates Mysterious Fortune Card
then sells the low cards.


there is a few bugs since im not very good with code and just learning so would love if someone could take a look and just fix up where i have gone wrong.
would love to have options in PB for you to set which bit of this profile you would like done.

What's the point in this? When leveling I made like 35 of these and they never sold, in the end I just said fuck it and used them all. Got a net profit of 2G50S, minus like 200G worth of mats = -197.50G Q_Q

correct you can herb all night and it doesnt destroy the AH for myself since i made this profile im up 70k just from herbing at night and making the cards

hello,

tested this profile today and i didnt seem to work? Anyone help me at all?

Goes to the mail box but doesnt loot the mail, after doing that manually it it mills all the herbs and makes them into ink(that works great). I then need to stop and start the bot because it always trys to make ink. Then it goes to the vendor and buys just 10 parchment paper and makes 10 cards and does nothing else?

Im using windows 7 x64 running proffesion buddy.

Anyone please help or is there a profile on here what mills, makes ink, makes cards? (not using them)

yeah i have problems with the mailbox side as well i think there is an addon you can get to make it work better but maybe an error in code sometimes works some times doesnt
the workaround is once it goes to the mailbox you just open it and leave it open

it will then get the herbs leaving you 5 bag spaces and mill and make inks once done it then trys to get more mail if you have it and does it again untill mailbox is empty

once mailbox is empty and all inks have been made it then makes the cards buying the mats in lots of 10 and will keep going untill there is no more ink to make the cards
then it opens the cards untill bags are full then vendors the cheap cards after vendor if have more cards starts opening them again

give this a try and see what you think, if someone could fix the mailbox code or explan it better would be great.

If I were to edit the locations of the mailbox + vendor that sells parchment, this *in theory* should work as horde correct? Going to edit it and give it a try pretty soon here , if I run across any issues i'll post back (w/ a log and/or screen shot), Also, if it works i'll just post back the profile *after* I test it of course, don't want to ruin someones day of a completely useless/wasteful profile after my first attempt to edit one =P

Edit: ~~ Currently testing my editted profile (for a horde version), if all goes well i'll attach it.

(Side Notes/questions)

1. Does anyone know how/if I could force this to use the flying mount instead of the ground mount? I'm not too worried about it due to normally just starting near the vendor anyways, but it would be a *slight* convenience if I could force it to use flying instead of ground.
   • (Reserved space for credits if someone has a way for the flying mount)
2. If anyone knows how I can make it so it does not *ever* Q for an instance either edit mine, or please tell me what line to edit it would be much appreciated because I personally have no need/want/desire for my scribe to do an instance, he's only lvl 75 w/ no gear equipped =P.
   • (Edit) I think i found a work around for the instance Q'ing, just simply un-check all available instances for your level (listed under specific Q), testing this theory now.

the instance Q sounds like you have your PB set to instancebuddy rather than combat for the secondary

ah hah! thank you spanky, that was the issue, I thought the secondary portion was linked to the actual profile, did not realize I could change that and have it work how it should be (I think i worded that strangely, but I think you'll know what I mean.)!
