So basically, I've been having trouble adding my paypal to any new accounts, and was told to remove it from my old in the trouble shooting progress.
Ended up waiting 2 weeks without any accounts available to attach it to and without an rmah mule paypal acc.

Anyone who managed to solve this?
I've tried everything..
Adding it from different computers, clean cache, history and programdata. 4 different browsers, 20+tickets, conversations with paypal.

Nothing solves it.

This is the last message I got:

Hi XXXX,

We spoke on the phone a couple of days ago regarding your issue and PayPal, I would first like to apologise for the long response time.

I have finally received a reply from the investigation on the matter and I'm afraid to say that the ability to register Paypal to this account will remain locked due to security reasons.

It would likely be related to the amount of other accounts connected, as it is the customer support team is unable to overwrite or apply the Paypal payment method on this account.

I am sorry that you encountered this issue.

Thank you for your time and patience.

Regards,

Henrique R.

And yes, it's verified paypal, verified CC, uploaded funds from my bank to try to refresh the paypal account.. what more... made new fresh paypal account, still doesn't work.

I've tried using *** - doesn't work.

I've tried everything but re-installing windows?

What is the maximum number of accounts linked at one time? I always thought it was two, but don't know much on the subject.

Always make sure your paypal has as some money on it when trying to link it to a new bnet account. In the EU you need at least 30 Euros, BLizzards will charge these and instantly pay them back. Dont know how much you need on the US.
COmpletly stupid that theres no hint of it on the linking page, took me hours to figure it out.

hope it helps

edit hmm the ticket response point to another problem but its still worth a shot.

They basically told me that this is the only time he ever saw anything like it, that my paypal-id has been blacklisted for suscpicious behavior.

It's loaded with cash, it's not the problem.

wow wtf ? paypal blacklisted ?
Now be honest dude, we are not judging anyone here, jsut trying to get to the bottom of this. My thoughts on this are that this is not just blizzard related as in you were botting before had 4-5 accounts linked to the same paypal then they got banned made new ones etc... Have you done chargebacks or any other "shady" activities on that account which may raised flag from paypal themself ? i doubt this is blizzard related only, i just checked my last wave banned accounts and 3 of them still had paypal attached which i removed + having 5 now that makes it total of 8 accounts linked to same paypal... I doubt this is paypal only, unless you had some farm of 80 bots, 20 of which had paypal access or smth of that nature...

Totally forgot about chargebacks, those could easily get you on paypals radar if you do enough

If you really did create a completely fresh brand new paypal and it wouldn't connect to a new b.net account.. Not sure what to tell you as that eliminates and and all all possible solutions....

As for re-installing Windows... There isn't any way for Windows to cause any issues when linking PayPal to B-NET as everything is handled server-side....

For reference purposes I had 0 funds on my paypal when I attached them to US accounts.

My suggestion. New pay pal (maybe different name), new bnet account, new d3 key, reformat windows. If that doesn't solve it, switch ISPs? not too sure what else you could try.
I'd stop adding new paypals to old accounts or new accounts to old paypals you're probably just flagging yourself.

They oviously don't want you to use RMAH anymore. That's it.

I believe this is chargeback related, if it wasn't then we sould have dozens of threads like this, i mean after so many botters getting banned i believe this is the one that was charging back and doing other "fishy" activities.

Never did any chargebacks, what flagged it for security was that I purchased it on 5 accounts withing the minutes after each other and removed the paypal payment as option after I failed to attach to the 6th account.
I've sent an email to [email protected]
Waiting for a reply.

The last guy I talked to on the phone subliminaly suggested it was due to shady business. That the account was a mule account and that I hadn't only used it for rmah (I've sold gold on it)
The thing is my paypal is working, it's just the paypal-id generated when u attach it bnet that's been blacklisted.

Either way, I've tried with new names, new accounts, all that. It's really, really, really weird.

Really miss the option to use rmah, I have loads of keys I wanna use for botting but I won't bot unless I have this thing fixed first..

Anyone who encountered likewise situation and solved it?

I had the paypal linked to several accounts at the same time, they've been removed from all but since now the paypal-id is somehow blacklisted (maybe because I used a *** to try to do one of the purchases - after failing regularly)..

I even ordered a brand new CC card -_-

W8, w8, w8... you actually bought the cd keys online from blizzard's battlenet ? Like a digital purchase ? Yeah that is known to cause blocks, bying more than 2 cd keys from bnet at a time can get all your accounts locked/banned is what i've heard...

You're probably not going to get rmah back on those accounts if that's the case. Just set up a new mule account with a new paypal account. That's your best option.

If you haven't already tried this, log-in to your Paypal account and goto Profile->My Money->My Pre-approved Payment->Update and cancel any Blizzard lists in there.

Then use Firefox and change to "Start Private Browsing", log-in to your battle.net account and try connecting Paypal.

Having the same issue linking a paypal to my newest mule account. Made a trouble ticket and here is the response:

1st Ticket - Thank you for contacting our Account and Technical Support team. Currently we have been experiencing some weird syncing issues with Paypal that has been causing players to be unable to sync Paypal to their Battle.net accounts. While the issue is in the process of being resolved, all we can ask is for you to sit tight and find another form of payment in the mean time.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and hope it will be resolved as soon as possible.

If you have additional questions or concerns, please reply to this ticket. If you would rather speak with a representative directly, please contact Account & Technical Services. Our contact information can be found at http://blizzard.com/support/article/cs.

Follow up response:

Hey there ##########, thanks for checking back in with us on this! This is Game Master Hralvek, and I've been doing some checking see what updates I could find on these issues with Paypal.

After a little checking in on this, I haven't been able to get an exact time frame, but I do have assurances from everyone I've talked to here that getting this sorted out is a top priority for us. We'll have our team working to insure that this resolved as quickly as possible!

I'm having the same issue too. Have been trying to link pp to a new account (as mule) for like one month already, still not able to sync...

but his (op) problem is not of that nature. had nothing to do with bug/issue on blizzard's side. This is pure blacklisting, regardless of the problem they are having, he will never be able to link that paypal to any blizzard account...

question is, is there someone here who successfully linked his/her paypal account? if the answer is yes, then you guys who had been banned before and trying to link your paypal account into a new mule, chances are you guys are blacklisted.
