paying for combat routines

hey guys , im a little concerned that after a long time user of honorbuddy ( paid again as had problems with previous key) , we are now having to pay for decent routines , singular routines are bloody useless !! and i am getting the distinct impression that we as users who have already paid for this service are being forced to pay over the odds for routines that haf the time dont work either , ie TuanHA routines hardley ever work including free versions , the only routine i have paid for is demonics which is class , but still feel that i was forced to buy when these routines have been free for such a long time , can you please inform us and maybe update singular routines so we are not forced to look else where . or at least make these routines available for a donation not a fixed price 20euros for one routines is very over priced seeing as i have bought the honorbuddy already

singular is for free and the author is working constantly on updates. Critism is always welcome but it needs to be constructive.
If you say Singular is "bloody useless" it does not help anyone and will not change anything. Instead go to the Singular thread and report to the author why you do not like it and what is missing in your eyes.
These kind of comments btw. changed a lot of dev minds. People who gave away their stuff for free - which is a lot work - now switch over to the store because people do not stay polite or flame the work those people do.

There are still tons of things for free so there is no need at all to buy something more than HB.
If you want a routine 20€ is not much compared to the time the DEV spent writing and supporting it.
Things on the store will NEVER be available for a donation. The Devs set the price meaning if you think something is over priced a) don't buy it or b) ask the author if he want to lower the price or why it is so high.

Please do not forget that coding and supporting is very time consuming and that little free projects grew to gigantic great CRs or Plugins which in my opinion is always fair to pay for.

So if you say now you have to pay for everything its not correct. YOU CAN, there is no must.
You can also write things on your own or use the free stuff available but if you like PRO versions with support yes you need to pay.
Also devs need to eat and want money for their time. Nothing new or? ^^
The only thing wrong here is the mindset to get everything for free.

I dont have a huge drama with paying for decent CR, My issue is "whilst not applicable so much for HB) Devs come and go, I have a feeling im going to pay for a devent CR for Rebornbuddy for example (shop not out yet) and the dev is going to drop the project in x amount of months..

His CR will be closed source and thats the end of my money >

I understand TheCamel. For products in the store devs need to sign a contract that they give support for an amount of time.

For free or donated routines it can happen that devs come and go. They loose interest on the game itself or to many people are like kodge calling their work "bloody useless".
This means devs loose interest in spending a lot of time in their stuff. Do not forget that there are a lot of people out there like kodge thinking that everything needs to be for free
or that if there is a bug or a thing that does not work like people want/need it the devs are their private slaves and have to fix it in 2 hours.
People stop doing something for free if they always get blamed. If you post constructive critism, show patience I made the experience that most of the devs are very nice and funny people to work with.

What i would like to see to help the community ( i must ad currency mastahg is doing a great job helping the community devs/ Potential devs) is perhaps some of the 20 % revenue to help pave a way for some the the Core developers to help work with the guys making free code for your bots, and not so much time on those who wish to charge.

You paid just for the bot. Technically the buddyteam could leave us with that BUT they created singular, questing profiles, continously add new features (professionbuddy, bgbuddy, dungeonbuddy) and completely rework existing stuff (gatherbuddy, bgbuddy) without any single extra costs.

In the past (before hb) we had bots that cost several €/$ every month and compared to honorbuddy now they couldn't do shit. So you really think it is appropriate to complain?
I'm pretty sure any poll about the general usage of singular (for example questing) is more then sufficient and would show positive results.
You say singular is bloody useless and paid custom classes are half the time not working? Then i get the impression, that you have no clue how to run the bot properly. (as they are perfectly running fine for me and tons of others too.)

If 20€ is too much for you - a) don't buy it b) do it on your own. Perhaps you will realize how much effort you have to put in such a project + remember, you always get updates for free.

I clearly stated end game cr should be a paid for, I suggest you go to the buy now page for just about evey bot made by the buddy team, and what they advertise what the bot can do, so no they DO need to do "shit" because they advertise that the bot will...

All I'm saying is one of the reasons ( but not the only reason) buddy bots are so popular are due to the community DEVS that do amazing stuff, I mean where would deamonbuddy be without trinity or hb with out kicks or carvas leveling profiles, these guys where all community DEVS at one point..

I've been botting since glider and also used pvp tool before moving to the buddybots I know how far it's come, I I know how important community DEVS are,

And that is seriously nice of you, but others really need the money or simply think, the amount of hundreds of hours they spent is worth something. It is their work so they can charge what they want. If it is too high for someone, well, don't buy it.

Still i don't get your point with why they have to provide stuff the bot isn't advertised for.

Of course we wouldn't be where we are without community devs, but where is the problem? As BotOP described, you won't lose money due to the described contract devs have to sign.

I think you have to take into consideration that today's custom classes are far more advanced, complex and therefore also susceptible for bugs and problems.If you provide a premium/paid custom class, of course your focus is on updating this premium cc. You can test all premium custom classes and even get your money back if you don't like it (within days). I think this is a pretty fair solution for both devs and endusers. Why shouldn't someone who puts tons of his own free time into a project get something for it?

That's the wrong point of view.
I guess i don't need to tell you that, compared to 31 keys and the possible earnings you could/can do with, 600€ is nothing.
Beside that, now we have to pay ONCE for anything and can use it across multiple wow instances(!!) before you had to buy it for each. That's a super huge (positive) difference.

From an economic point of view, this is easy. There is something to buy and it is (maybe) better than what is available for free. You test it and find out, it gives a benefit of XX %, more dmg, faster leveling...whatever. You do some simple calculations and find out you save xx hours / days whatever. Then you buy it or not.

Of course not everything is worth the money for everyone.
