So the moment we have all either dreaded or waited for is about to arrive. This Tue , or a week from Tue if their are problems, we will see a whole new WoW explode in our face. The already unstable market will get worse, all new class changes that require us to actually think about how to play our toons, and worst of all, it will turn Honorbuddy upside down.

Honor buddy will be down for at least a few days. All our CCs will be broke, and worst of all, no farming. Nesox (sux) Main, Apoc, and Hawker will be in their caves working to bring HB back. We will see hundreds of post on things like "Are we there yet", "Why wont HB work", and "I dont get it" . Then when HB does come back up we will be at the mercy of the CC devs to get the CCs all updated so we can even start using HB again.

There are some interesting times ahead indeed. What are you gonna be doing? Enjoying the new spells? Learning the class over again? Personally I will be working on the CCs. Ive already spent a few weeks updating so I would be ready before 4.0 hit.
 
Figuring out the new spells so I'm ready for the inevitable week or more of hand-leveling when Cata hits.
 
I personally won't even bother botting etc, I will be too busy learning how to play my Main characters effectively & screwing around with different talent variations & most of all regemming my shit from what used to be 1400ArP and will probably be 1400Crit.

Also a side note about Gems, I heard somewhere that the cooldown will be taken off the Alchemists transmute at some point or another, Is this true? If so, when?

Because I don't want to save my gems expecting people to regem to find out they're worthless now anyways.
 
I cant wait for the update, although ive been pretty dependant on HB lately as im really busy with education right now. But i cant complain really, bring on 4.0!
 
Hoped to get my pally to 80 before the patch but i doubt that will happen. So I will be questing by hand on her trying to knock the levels off.
 
I can't wait for the new changes, I played a little bit on the PTR on my main (Ret Pally) and i love the changes. Apprantly we are not top dps but we actually have to think about what attack we use and when (possibly filter bad from good??).

As for HB ill be waiting for it to be updated and doesn't bother me how long it takes, these guys do a awesome job as it is and when its ready its ready :D.
 
Personally.. i'll welcome the downtime from HB/GB being down. It will give me a good chance to relearn the new aspects of the classes and such. From what I've seen on PTR and Beta its gonna be a hell of a time.. paly's are basically being reworked from the ground up. Holy Lights cast faster then Flash of Light and then there's the new AOE Heals they have.. then there's the new lock spells (Bane is a locks new best friend) along with reworking spells based on the fact Shards are no longer used in their original form, you get 3 that are regen'd thru various means. Then there's the hunters no more Ammo and no Mana so having to relearn the new Aspects and such to make the best use. Plus there's the pet hunting since we can carry 5 pets with us anywhere and store ALOT more LOL time to go for those ghost pets :)

well you get the idea... and like was stated.. i'm sure there will be quite a few "Can we bot yet?" " what the hell i paid for this why can't i use it?"... my advise.. be patient and just wait.. give them time to make things work again.. and just try to enjoy the new changes coming :)
 
I play the beta and I must say the spell changes to warlocks are really complex and really demanding more on mana now which I LOVE. Mages aren't phased much but I must say Beta has overwhelmed me but this new patch will help everyone get ready. We can quickly make new CC's and get past the new patch security but let me just say once cata hits haha.. The mesh system is FUCKED :D
 
Deathknights will make their PvP comeback, fucking ghostcrawler may have punished us for being OP in S5 but oh yeah baby im comin back :D
 
im going to to get a couple new routes saved on GB as soon as thats up, to start farming the new herbs and metals. will be doing that on my secondary/farming account, and trying out archaelogy on my main account. archaelogy and re exploring Azeroth.

they added experience gains to gathering herbs and metals, hopefully with my built up rest exp i can knock out two levels on the first week just buy farming.
 
Just a thought as well - with HB and the current profiles undergoing such massive changes for this, it seems like now would be a fantastic time to make profiles viewable by only paid members (sorry to keep flogging a dead horse). But think about it - all the people using cracked HB versions and legit profiles will be up the creek without a paddle, so if you change it so that cata profiles can only be viewed by paid profiles, you've pretty much screwed them over (unless they make their own). I dunno, just a thought.
 
If people were smart about development, there would be at least some preparation for the new class changes. In all honesty there's plenty of changes, but nothing that affects play style so significantly that they will be unbottable for the time being...
 
Im going to get my new bot to 80 before the patch and retire him untill things are sorted. Ill continue to bot my main as my mates are asking me for cat gold etc.

From what I've seen playing in the actual cata beta... Arp seems to have mainly changed to haste with some exceptions, but I also think it depends on the gear and what class it is meant for... So the changes are pretty unstable at best of yet

offtopic i know but are you the guy who knows juju? if so hii!! havnt seen you in a while :P.

@ everyone else ive spoken to some of my mates who play legit wow and theyve all said the same when ive pestered them about buying gold "nah but wait till cata ill buy some then" basically theyre all wanting like 10k and i think this will happen with all players so in a way those who legit play wont want to play by hand for minimum gold where as a bot can stockpile a few k a day and whne the prices shoot up due to everyone wanting to buy 10k etc we can all go sell it for a fair bit :P.
