PartyBot / Follow the Leader - Questions / Help

So, I am currently playing on a DK (non-afk) and using Tyrael plus trying a few different combat routines for just going out and killing stuff PvE.

I would like to bring along two of my bots who are also 90 and have some pretty decent gear. I tried getting partybot, dungeon buddy to work with no luck. A few questions in hopes that someone can help me find a solution.


1) I play on a desktop - DK
2) My bots are both windows VMs on a mac

Is it possible to play in a group with them on a different box than I am playing on? If so what botbase/plugin/etc do I need and is there a small guide available? I did a search through forums last night to no avail. I found a few bits from CodemanG but I don't think it completely applies either.

I would like to not have to have them all running on my desktop if I could get away from it. I am also looking for whatever would allow me to do it (even if it had to be on same pc) to where my character I manually play (DK) could benefit from using Tyrael and still be party leader. It seemed I couldn't keep using tyrael with my CR if I selected partybot to be partyleader etc.

Anyone have any insight? How are you walking around grinding whatever you want to grind manually and have your bots follow you around and help dps?

*note, I am not trying to do dungeons or raids with this at the moment, just normal PvE on Timeless Isle etc.

Tyrael has a setting in Bot Config to enable plugins.

Partybot works with all the HB sessions in the same computer.
You can forward the port on another computer, but this config requires a little bit more knowledge. There's this guide (I haven't tried it, but looks right):

Thank you for the link to that guide. Threads get buried over time and digging them up is painful at times, so definitely appreciate the link.

I'll check Tyrael and see if I can find how to enable plugins. If that's possible then I can just launch the PartyLeader plugin. Forward traffic and go from there.

I have partyleader loaded with Tyrael, but it never opens the listening port. ;/ Not sure if I am doing something wrong or what but this is rather confusing. I under the even the golang code of spipe more than this, haha.
