Since the day I started using honorbuddy I noticed lots of ppl around me using bots. I see a lot of afk questers, lots of toons (especially druids) flying around uldum, twilight highlands to gather herbs or ores... I see lots of moron fishers who have their "ninja pool" mode on....

But now I m kinda scared cause I started to consider everyone of those botters in my server are potential reporters. So I feel like I must report them before they have a chance to report me later on....

That is kinda dirty business cause we all have a common point and we are not enemies. But I know there are greedy ones who will report all other bot users to get rid of them so that they can have all ores in a area or they can collect more and more herbs...

Am I going nuts or this is normal? I read a lot of threads in the forum that ppl honestly say "I report botters" or "I dont like stupid botters when I see they are too obvious I report them"

The reason we get banned is the report from other players. I can honestly say if you are not a bot user u really dunno what a bot is and how it looks when someone uses it. So if you got banned it must be %99 you got reported by another botter.

Do you aggree? Is that some kinda dirty war between botters? Cause in that case we have no chance to survive.... (oh btw I havent reported anybody yet.)
 
There is no war. Be towards others as you expect them to be towards you.
Sometimes you can scare them off just by whispering whatever to them. Try doing that. :)
 
to be honest IF I'm not a botter and didn't not see how honorbuddy and glider works or do wouldn't know that guy is botting, i'm a botter and know how botting looks like i know botter when i see one, also i'm not good at xml language so cna't right a porfile for my own will use that is there in our forums so if i got banned it is not blizz that smart i got account banned and i was botting with it for 3y years that is surly was a botter reported me

It was a bit hard to understand ur english but it is ok. This is the part that I hate most, botters report botters and then they got reported too.... So we fecking up each other and that is not logic. Btw I tried whispering one yesterday and said "dude your autopilot mode is too obvious, just stop the engine and get the machine rested"... he was offline right after that...

I dont want to scare ppl and I dont wanna pay for a throw away account which will double up my costs... Kinda complicated issue :S
 
Not complicated at all.

Don't report other botters, karma will hit you in the face like a storm, simple as that.
 
I dont believe in karma but I dont understand how ppl can be that stupid... Cause blizz will also investigate your logs when you report another player... They are not moron, they are also aware of the fact that botters recognize botters
 
I always bot AFK, so I have no idea since my bot would just reply to most whisper tests (no response = report) such as Hi etc.
