Paid software vs Bug Swatting...

Hey,

I've been one of your customers for a while now. One major aspect of writing a good bot is seeming human. I realize that you have a terrible, worldwide management structure, but bugs in your software is what make your clients get banned...

The majority of bugs i've enountered over the past 6 months while using your software were not about reading wow's memory properly, they have always been about how your software interpreted those memory reads.

I've scanned your forums and by your forum ranks, at least 5000 people have purchased your lifetime deal at 80 euro. another 15000 have purchased the 25 euro deal. That's only those who've posted back on the forums... That's 400k euro + 375k euro.

Making profit off of Blizzard users is fine, but at the end of the day, the bugs that continue to happen with your releases gets our asses banned!

Why should we keep paying this much money for software that, while barely legal, isn't going to help us in the long run? GB's inclusion in HB should help solve half the current issues of Gatherbuddy, or does it just add to the problems of HB?

My main question is whether we, as customers, are paying this money to either preoccupied frauds who just play with this code part time, or whether we're dealing with undereducaticated teenagers who like to copy scripts?

Sorry guys, but I've never seen any commercial product so... unfinished...

so you want to come in and troll the staff? why? if you didnt like the bot you could of asked for a refund, I have made the point before that this bot takes a lot to keep it going compared to some of the others, but the limitless functionality makes it well worth it. so if you dont like the bot then stop paying for it, its really that simple.

in case you dont know the bot has had to be rewritten several times now because major changes (like cataclysm and patches) change the game almost completely each time. ive said before that the bot is closely tied into wow, so not only do the developers have to fix the bugs that we have, but fix some of the weird back ass-word "hacks" blizzard implemented to make the world work correctly, not to mention the bugs they code in that they just run with, and never fix that they keep building onto. we fix all the bugs we can all while implementing new features. we're not talking about coding a notepad program here. its one product made to interact and force another program to do something it was never designed to in the first place. all of the suspensions lately have been just that, suspensions some of them from gold selling or getting caught up in blizzards server side algorithm to find patterns, or just plain making mistakes and using the same payment information and having some trail that leads to all the other accounts. so far all the suspensions have been server side, and not client side and we all work hard to make sure our users accounts are fine, and keep the product free from ban waves and client side detection.

we are not preoccupied frauds or undereducated teenagers, we are all professionals, just trying to provide for our family's, and get our bills paid. you know there's much easier ways to make money, and all of them are easier then coding and supporting a bot that has this functionality. we do what we do because we love our jobs. because if we where trying to scam people we could of just bought WoW Gremlin or any other Chinese bot, and tried to sell it to you where you don't know the coder and will never hear a word from them, here if you have a question, you can always send a pm to any of them and get a response and we all try our best to help you.

So you've never seen Microsoft Windows then? It has far more known bugs that never get fixed and through its lifecycle is constantly being updated to fix flaws and vulnerabilities?

It is weird, I see some people complaining about too many bugs in this software yet I haven't experience any criticals ones.
If you look closely at every suspension reports you'll see that nearly all of them will tell you something like that :
"I've been botting 12h+ per day"
"I've been grinding several days"
"I posted hundreds auctions a day"
....

When you make everything possible to show that you're using a bot you'll get a suspension/ban, it is just a matter of time.

Stop being greedy if you can't afford to loose an account and make your botting look more human. Don't blame this great bot, blame yourself for not being able to bot wiesly.

I have paid 320€ to this company so far and I dont feel like I have been frauded. I think the product is worth every cent.
I dont see other WoW-Bots being that better than GB/HB.So I assume its as good as it can be atm.
Also I think there has been a great developement.
I started using HB again two days ago...the last time I used it before that was 3 months ago.
There are so many things that work now flawlessly that were really terrible 3 months ago. (Questing,Training Skills,etc.)
I basically left my bot running for 3 days (not in a row...~10hours/day) and I dont have to do anything...It never got stuck or buged itself out.It did everything for me.
All in all I use this bot sucessfully for some time now and I have encountered some problems with it but none of them was that hard or didn't get fixed after some time.
And I have grinded someCharacters from 1-80 without bans...I cant see where these bans are a fault of HB/GB.

I never post a lot, see <<<, anyway - regardless of the comments by the mods or consumers the balance moves, consumers feel pain, like interests rates raising on home loans, its fair to say " if you dont like it dont do it" but people will always ask or question, they will scan perhaps even take an numbers view, this will always happen emotion takes over from a mod or a person laced with passion over the product and comments made.

The choice is with the consumer though how they come to make a choice is "Marketing" lol - like the common Druid it takes many forms, positive comments from users, bragging rights through commerce (Forums)( I made 1mil in gld) product is Wot or woooot, woooooot, what ever the form, the designers hold the cards like the Managing director (MDs) of a company, as the worker or pleb, we will never know whats happening, we can only make choices based on what we decide to believe in.

I respect the work here, I have paid that right to be here......but choose to be pesamistic about most positive and negitive things posted......

I see Skanders point of view, let him have his say - again, the MD's will decide and the workers or plebs will follow if the choose.

In reading this, 1000's have peobably done this before so it begs to question....why bother!?
