this is not a guide, guides should be in the proper section of the forum. just a discussion and tips on the build!

The actual build im using for bot: http://www.d3planner.com/290171817

Very overkill for TX, but works amazing with the bot been testing all night. Most of the time clears under 2minutes, 1-2 Shot elites.
Make sure you turn off avoidance settings. With 60% CDR for Epiphany + Dashing Strike, navigation has a nice time.

My settings:

Trinity Plugin Settings:
Combat
Misc:

-Trash #: 5-10, Cluser Size: 25

-Turn off all avoidance, leave "attack mobs in AOE" checked on

-Ignore POWER Globes (the yellow ones no one cares about, these are not progression orbs)

-i leave kamikazie on my goblins, teleport classes should have no stuck issues + goblin packs!!

Monk->Use Dashing Strike OOC
-Min Wave of Light count (1 or 2)

Item->Pickup:
-> Turn off yellows and blues
-> Turn off pickup gold, OR increase the slider upto 30,000. we dont want to collect all the gold, mainly to not waste time, but also some that are left behind can help the bot, as he back tracks he will go over gold and proc BOON.
-> Turn off pickup gems

Advanced -> inactivity timers (enable gold & experience) -> 90-120 seconds

So this build: http://www.diablofans.com/builds/70436-lon-wave-of-light-farming-build

is amazing....I've only swapped the shoulders for skeleton pauldrons as there is just too much damage for TX.

Anyone else getting better results for TX? I would argue its fastest TX clear in the entire game atm, you just can't beat that damage for TX. its LoN + Insane amounts of Wave of Light damage...nothing comes close imo.

Can you post your Trinity settings for this build?

basically just stole Quin67's build(top this patch) and im guessing youre claiming it as your own?

why so salty ? afaik hes only claiming that its the fastest TX bot build, and if it really goes faster than 2 mins, i guess hes right. and who is this *Quin67* youre talking of ?

@OP id love to try that out, so i started shard-gearing a monk, didnt even have one till 15 mins ago :>

whoa relax everyone, i could't find the link to Quin's exact build. its almost identical....just do your own research on builds...my point was WOL + LON = insane speeds. i've updated the first post to include quins build lol...

turn OFF avoidance, turn off pickup blues/yellows. the only other options i used were in Combat->Monk->Use Dashing Strike OOC.

get 60% CDR. watch as the bot wrecks like anything before.

Why is this best speed for bot?:

-Wave of light is cast at enemy, this means its automatically the best for bot, you dont have to run to your mobs (e.g explosive blast needs to be up close, WAve of light you dont)
-dashing strike is the best OOC movement spell + in geom for the BOT. ever since the bot release, dashing monk has been insanely fast for bots. my favorite guide was from Fujiyama Season 3.
-you dont need epiphany, as Quin doesn't use it. but the bot uses epiphany like a machine, test something else.

Downside:
-havn't tested monk in very high GR, only 55-60, I don't think its the flavour of the season, so don't expect the best guides for GR, unless you're willing to try it out :)
-once you are augmented, and try using unity + other toughness, if you can clear GR 60 under 3-4min (which is very possible for this build) you can get 100+xp per hour easy. Because GR 60 gives roughly 7-8 bil per rift. Calculate 3 minute rift clears for an hour, you get 140+bil xp. Of course upgrading gems and other town run stuff slows your XP/hour down.

edit: quin can eat a fat one, i got the idea first from DAT MODZ: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2V1vBGu8yFA

How's the survability? How much would i have to change for hardcore botting? ANd would it worsen the build significantly?

survivability is almost 0 in GR lol. you die occassionaly to molten on TX however goldwrap can provide infinite survivability...with unity you can tank upto two I believe , + estoric and resistance aura, you might just be tanky enough not to ever die, still risky. the tanky setup is what i use for GR55+, which is still efficient and strong

so my legendary gems would be esoteric + trapped + zeis
and I would use mantra of salvation - agility on hardcore?
Think I could not die with TX rift farming this way? would I turn on avoidance on HC or leave it off?

I think it's more efficient to make multiple builds, one for GR one for TX speed/Bounty. Instead of trying to patch together some variation of a TX build. Focus on what builds do best I think :)

Anyone else having trouble with the bot just refusing to cast Wave of Light at random points? Sometimes it just stops and facetanks mobs and dies :<

maybe try estoric, molten guzzard, and trapped. all resist gems, and grab the near death experience. avoidance maybe turned on for HC, he should be able to tank a molten with all the required toughness. might be worth augment vitality in everything too as DPS is fine.
maybe also turn off "pickup stuff in AOE or Elites" under pickup options, theres a few of them

@ MrFukinkou
hmm i didn't encounter this issue of no wave of light. are you using ephiphany? try without it incase its causing the bot to facetank too much, cause it does blink towards the target, causing facetanking!
also try setting your min wave of light count to 1 in trinity settings.

Nah, Im not. Exact same build as Quin uses. Everything ancient besides boots. Still not oneshotting bosses tho, normal mobs die to 1 hit but not elites/blues. (most die farily quickly tho).
Not sure if Im doing something wrong. :(

ok so i've updated my first post to the actual build im using for the bot (which is what i had originally done).

which is http://www.d3planner.com/997048669

i'm using reapers wraps + epiphany to keep my spirit regen constant, cause WOL costs a ton. Quins build i couldnt find effective for the bot. just try my one first. let me know how you go!

its based on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2V1vBGu8yFA

the big difference IMO are the two passives. initiative wrecks on TX, and CDR helps every spell. you need to aim for 550% crit damage too for this build to be effective. as WOL is your only source of dmg, and it needs to crit higher, there is that to think about. id say 40% CDR is enough, in-geom takes care of the rest, and reapers wraps keep you kinda full spirit when epiphany off CD. you could try nemesis bracers too!

having one less ancient is 100% damage loss. its unacceptable if you want one shot, you need full ancient.

thnx im going to use this build for my stream tomorow with the bot and test it im using innas pet build solo now it isnt that great

SunWuko set+ this build is actually better, if they fix wave of light distance and not face tank everything. Also 10x easier to make. GL getting ancient geom, cindercoat and witchhour.

Hey, isn't Epiphany+WoL still bugged? If you have epiphany up, sometimes WoL doesn't deal damage in the center of the bell.

So is this build impossible if you're missing like 3~4 ancient pieces? Or would it still work well enough?

I'm just missing 1 Ancient piece (bracers) but it's pretty much owning T10 very quickly. For pants and shoulders, I just used whatever I had that was ancient. Doesn't seem to make a huge difference. Using Ancient Witching Hour for belt. Cubed Goldwrap.

CHC : 48%
CHD: 581%
Fire Damage: 56%
Area Damage: 100%
Cooldown Reduction: 41.41%

Overall damage seems to be in the range of 8 billion to 16 billion.
