Hi there

I put like 65+ elemental ore stacks up on AH for 60gold a stack, went away for like 8 hours come back to find it was undercut buy 5 gold (grrrrrrrr), so i cancelled all of my auctions and under cur him by like 5 gold, went away for like 1 hour come back to find i was undercut by the same guy but a bit less and this happend like 5 times ova and ova and ova and ova and ova, and the stack prices went down all the way down to 20gold a stack, at this point i was like f it i put on Profession buddy AH bot and i made it undercut him by 1 copper to piss him off and left it on for like 24 hours, i ended up selling my ore but for like 16g 50s.

What should i do change prof's go for different ore?
 
Wait until he's sold out, or mine something else.
 
i dont really play wow on weekdays only weekends cause i work, but i should of waited till his stuff sold then posted mine
 
or

do something useful with said ore instead of being one of those ppl who are like DERP! I AM THE MASTER OF ALLLLLLL OF THE ORE ON MY SERVER!

There are plenty of guides on how to shuffle ore into other things that will get more money than the stupid AH (and less chance of ban)
 
I dont really want to f around doing prospecting DE, take alot of time. I usally put my farmer on and play my main at the same time.
 
Pick an auction price, post your auctions, then let it sit there till it sells or expires. Playing the undercutting game, especially with elementium, gets you nowhere. I've found, that even if your undercut, if your posted auctions are at a fair price, they'll sell eventually. YMMV.

if you don't want to put the time into getting more gold, then you'll have to deal with the ah guys

i learned a very long time ago that gathered goods only sell nicely at xpac launch and a month or 2 after... after that, never go to the AH with your goods unless you're looking for a fast ban (a lot of ppl report from 20+ stacks of anything)
 
Common ores and herbs is farmed by many so putting them on ah isnt the best way to keep the value of them.

Ex. I play on a medium/low populated server and i farm a lot of elementium ore.
Then i got 2-3 private buyers to sell all the ores too, selling 200-300 stacks a day to the same guy every day doesnt feel kinda smart imo so i divide my ores in 3 and sell more normal quanteties :) prices are like 35-45g/stack on my server and i sell all i got for 25g/stack and they buy all!!!
If you got herb as second prof i consider you to look up azshara's veil on ah and if it's pricy i would go farm them while elementium ores are cheap on the ah.
Even more, if you got herb and alchemy on an other toon i consider you to look up Flask of titanic strength and make them if it's worth it.
If whiptail and cinderbloom are expensive most people will sell them raw at the ah and forget about the flasks, but if you are a herber and got alchemy its a good way to make some extra gold :)
Flask of the winds is a good option if you got many whiptails and azshara's veil or if you want to sell everything you farm as quick as possible.

I hope it helped you understand a bit how to get pass or avoid getting low prices at ah!

Thanks, maybe i should ask the guy to buy the raw stuff of me lol :p, yea herbs and stuff at prity high, 118 gold a stack of twilight but im at work now and i bet ya they will be undercut(i think).

Edit: wait there not undercut, but i think if i lower em a bit more people will buy em.
