yes, i understand all the imputs of the game surrounding experience. but why is the speed capped at 21kph and overall 10K exp per hour is really bad... at that rate it would take 84 days running pokefarmer non-stop to reach max level.
Math:
20,000,000 (total exp required)/10,000 (exp per hour) = 2000 hours/24 (hours in a day) = 83.33 days
Your math is correct, but consider this without bot:
Assuming that the XP is evenly divided between pokestops and Pokémon catch, Then :
5000XP/hr divided by 50 XP per Pokestop = 100 Pokestop/hr or 1 pokestop every 36 seconds
5000XP divided by 100 XP per Pokémon = 50 Pokemons/hr or 1 pokemon catch every 1.2 min
A truly dedicated Pokémon player can probably spend 3 hours every day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. He may play longer on weekends, but he may also skip days on weekdays, so it should even out.
I also know that you get XP points for evolving, using lucky eggs,, different throws, etc... but there is also no way that a person can consistently hit pokestop every 36 seconds, and catch pokemon non stop every 1.2 mins, I don't really care how many lures you drop.
So in this scenario, a dedicated pokemon player can only gain 30,000XP (average) per day or 10,000XP x 3 hours.
Using the same math. Without a bot, a super dedicated, ate up, no life pokemon player will take 20,000,000XP divided by 30,000XP per day which equals to 666.67 days or
1 year, 9 months, 27 days, 8 hours, 38 minutes and 24 seconds just to reach level 40. And that person has to play 3 hours every day 7 days a week, and be able to sustain that catch rate and pokestop visit.
I don't know about you, but I will take that 83.33 days anytime, versus playing pokemon after working hour including Christmas and holidays, for 666.67 days or almost 2 years.
I am telling you though, there is no glory after level 30 other than bragging right. Your pokemons are not even that stronger, the XP requirement is incredibly stupid, and after level 32, your CP per power up goes down to 20CP, which means you have to power up twice just to match your usual power up CP. You will experience this when you reach level 32+. And no, there is no freaking master ball. It doesn't unlock by leveling up. I have yet to find one. And you will still find your most powerful pokemon getting beaten up by a level 25 in the gym. It needs 2,000,000 XP to reach level 30, it will take another 18,000,000 to reach level 40. That's equivalent to 9 additional level 30 accounts, and your pokemon only gets few CP stronger, That is dumb. Now I am venting my frustration already.
