What is the optimal setups for running bots, specifically multiple bots;
1. VMWare;
Should this be "the thing" to use? how does it help, critically speaking. What are the you risking by not using it, etc..
1b. What operating system would be most viable for VMWare bot running? in terms of resource use and stress on a PC.
2. Should you be running a ***?
free or otherwise. Does this decrease the risk of Blizzard flagging your account or does it simply increase the chance by lumping them on a (possibly known) external IP?
3. What is THE best class for farming?
Whether it's inferno farming for items or gold farming in lower acts/difficulties? (I wouldn't mind a bit of detail on this, would DH be good with a good combat profile or Barb since it's easy enough hack n slash with better survival vs elites? etc..)
4. Does the setup of your battlenet account factor in at all?
Will your account be assumed a botter over the next if your details are listed as First Name: Ja - Last Name: Koff @ 666 sex st. Pedoland, as opposed to something somewhat believable? (it would obviously help for recovery, giving them believable details, but I simply ask for those experienced botters out there)
5. Would you run bots in shifts?
ie. 4 bot accounts.
00:01-12:00 = Account 1 and 3
12:01-24:00 = Account 2 and 4
6. Would you GF or MF gear?
Is GF more profitable or MF? Is MF safer since it doesn't show a huge discrepency between gold picked up and time played?
I had a couple of other points but i've so far forgotten.
Overall i'm looking for people's experience and knowledge in each field described. If you've tried the account shift change thing, comment on that, banned or not. If you've had a undetailed account banned shortly into your botting spree, did you experience different with the same setup but a more "believable" account setup? You get the jist.
I know there are a lot of bits of information spread around, but I thought a thread with a few of these things listed out for newbies to the bot scene might help prevent future threads/posts.
