Opinions about pickpocketing and skinning ? + Mine mining Stats

hi, im farming from about a year mining (ghost iron ore) wich on mine realm atm is 40g per stack, but i want to start something new - what do u propose ?

I was thinking skinning in KRASARANG WILDS (dont know how much i can gather per h) or pickpocketing (1k gold per h). Is pickpocketing highly ban'able ? And is only skinning and posting on AH able to do any resonable (like mining) profits?


PS also - what addons/sites/profiles do u use for farming gold ?

For farming GiO im using Patto's profiles + Gatherbuddy helper, i send GiO to Banker - and he posts that to AH or sends C.O.D to buyers. I get about 5-6k from a char per 12h of farming (GiO stack at the realm costs 40g)

Never sell raw Ore, at least prospect it into gems and sell that instead. I would suggest not getting into pickpocketing, lots of bans recently and you run the risk of getting reported by other players.

May I ask why pickpocketing has become risky all of a sudden? That sounds like something that would never be reported

A short and static path + locations where other rogues are likely to be, why wouldn't you be reported? Invisibility only works to a certain extent, people will still see if there's someone there pickpocketing. Just a few days ago there was a large banwave amongst pickpocketers. I wouldn't recommend it.

Yes, did also hear about PP that it got high ban rate - but with 1,5k gold per h i can get bans every few days I will check it on a separate PC....

Any ideas as for fishing and skinning ?

PS I rlly dont want to play with prospecting, but think i will be forced to create one JC to prospect GiO to gems....

PS @Dockson, what profiles/addons do u use ?
