So i just decided to utilize my ssd drive and put wow on it. I had it on my data (D) Drive 1 Tb and decided to uninstall and reinstall it on my ssd 256gb ssd drive.. should I put Honorbuddy there as well? i heard of alot of writes/rewrites was bad for an ssd drive and being as i paid an arm and a leg for my alienware for myself this christmas.. i'd rather not ruin it..

whatcha think.. Will it run better on SSD?

I was having lag issues with HB but I made an exemption for HB folder with Bitdefender and it runs smooth.. so I don't know if there is a benefit to SSD like a legit benefit not a oh it runs 1 millisecond smoother

normally you die, before a normal user can kill a ssd just with read/writes ;)

Shouldn't be an issue, HB writes roughly 1 MB/hour of logs, so with wear leveling it would take decades to use up even a single write cycle. It will run somewhat faster though, as it reads a lot of small files, so I'd recommend putting it on the SSD.

Hi, Messycan,

HB proper, probably not. But its footprint is small enough (~15MB or so) that there's no reason not to, really.

What's important to keep on the SSD is your 'mesh directory', and other database-like files. Unless you move them, these live in the %LocalAppData%/Bossland/ folder.

cheers,
