I just noticed my bot opens neph rifts without actually having any keystones in his inventory. how? why? and is this something I can do without the bot? or is this something that proves that I am botting if being observed? googled around a bit on how to open rifts without keystones in inventory but no posts about it.

sorry, this is a trap from blizzard...your account is flagged now and you will be banned at the next waveban event.

Wow I just noticed this, Arotished has me all fucked up.

Yeah I noticed this trying a rift profile for first time, I was thinking how handy this could be playing the game but then started to think all bad things :P

thats why i ALWAYS keep at least 100 fragments in my inventory!

i was thinking the same thing as i watched him open a rift without actually putting in the fragment :S

so blizz might know about every single rift botter with ease now xD

is there a way to lock fragments in inventory spaces? As of now All im running is bounties bc i feel thats an ez way to get caught.

When you open join an open rift, the game just asks you if you would like to pay WITHOUT HAVING TO CLICK ON A KEY.
so yeah, this can actually happen. lol

Hi, all,

This is a relatively recent change to D3. We've already opened a high priority bug report, DB-60 ("Riftbot is using keystones from the stash - oops?") against the issue.

cheers,

So I'm running rift bot with key used from stash, that's mean I'm waiting for my banned? :)))))

Whooohooo just like you have been death sentence and you're waiting for that day :)

It simple means blizzard have a "possible" point of identifying a user botting..

What we know is, I real player can't do what the bot is doing. Whether or not blizzard have the means to correctly identify this no one knows..

Please understand it's not the bot that getting detected running, it's just a possible action that could be tracked by blizzard to put the ban hammer down...

Personally the way that season 1 is set up for rankings I don't think blizzard really give a damm

And the plus side is I don't give a damm about my account either I bot d3 to piss of my mates who spend there life farming this game and I still end up on top lol

well this gets better. I don't even have rift keys in my stash! So how the fck does the bot open rifts? I let it run all night, LOL

edit: nevermind, overlooked a bunch of keys in my stack. Was too funny to be true anyway

Something i noticed though:

The bot doesn't drag the rift key in the slot, but just opens it. Does it really matter if that's from inventory or stash? It probably uses the same method anyway? I'm not a coding guru so I hope you guys can clarify, but it seems we are 'flagged' either way, if blizzard wants.

Are you serious? I mean 100% serious? By saying yes 100% you are really helping this guy 100% that his account will get banned. Thanks Arotished for helping! Hope you are certain for your answer.. let's quote on that...

so, hotfix coming forcing keys to be right clicked from the inventory?
not the biggest issue in the world, but if blizzard knows in what way bots behave differently from humans its an easy in to make a big ass banwave^^
