since you've discontinued demonbuddy did you ever consider open sourcing it?
I'm guessing most of that code that's related to D3 specifically is not yielding any new revenue for you, maybe you could pivot this to something like this: open-source the code that is making you as a company liable to infringement and maybe sell access to session management etc. which is, of course, totally generic and has nothing to do with any Activision products.
This could make you some money potentially... Of course, based on assumption that someone would pick up the development process on the open-sourced part of the code.
