I like WoT as a game during tank battles, but the entire concept of such immensely expensive tanks is just something i am not willing to suffer/grind through.

I am looking for a WoT bot that uses the safe method of imputing commands/controls (i think it is called user-input, instead of memory injection)?

I heard from some places that TankLeader is a decent bot, but a lot of it's users are also showing extreme dissatisfaction and hate towards this product.

So i got two questions for fellow users of the TankLeader:

1. Is the TankLeader a good bot for WoT?
What would you say are it's worst points and downsides?
Why is the premium/gold required? Minor hassle, but it seems put there just to annoy users and to make WG money.

2. Are there any other good WoT bots that you can recommend i take a look at, so i can compare them to TankLeader before i make my purchase?

Thank you for your honest replies :)

I'll leave the feedback of the actual functioning up to the users of the bot, but I can provide you some insight in the workings of the bot itself. The bot is designed to play like a novice player, and does so. It doesn't navigate as well as you would because of the extremely different driving styles of all the tanks in the game. We attempt to find a sweet spot that more or less works on all tanks, but that has proven to be extremely difficult with the various characteristics. Therefore, navigation somethimes feels lacking when you're watching the bot. You would do better driving it manually. Personally, I find the navigation to be the biggest shortcoming of the bot, but it's also one that's very difficult to get right for this specific game (it's not point and click like WoW is). When we moved from TL1 to TL2, we overhauled the navigation system completely, and perhaps there are a few long time users around who still remember that. The bot used to use a waypoint system like early HB did. With TL2, we've moved to a full-mesh navigator solution similar to that used in HB.

The gold is required because we designed the bot around running a profit on premium accounts. The bot's performance will be mediocre (you'll end up in the "average" or slightly below average scores on WN7/8/EFF etc.) and to offset this, we made the call when we created the bot to make premium a requirement.

While discussion of other bots is prohibited on our forums, I can say that TL has proven to be a relatively "safe" bot up until now. It's been around for a couple of years and we still have to see the first major banwave that originates from TL being detected. And no, the heuristics banwaves WG did in the past isn't the same as them actually detecting TL, before anybody decides to throw that in.

The bot will grind a lot of cash and free experience for you if you use mid-tier (premium) vehicles, at the cost of a lower arbitrary ranking on the various scales. If you can live with that, you'll love the bot. If you're after big stats and becoming a unicum, don't touch it - it doesn't match that playstyle.

That's the best non-biased analysis I can give you.

Thank you very much for such a detailed reply.

I honestly only want to use TankLeader to farm experience on normal tanks that i dislike - so i can reach certain high tier tanks that i do like.
For example, i dislike the tier 6 and 7 TDs of a certain nation - so id like the bot to farm through those awful tanks, so i can start playing and learning a proper tank i like :)

I honestly do not care about turning a profit or getting high win rates with the TankLeader - i only want the experience on normal tanks, so the premium requirement is a big negative for me.
I would not care if the bot requires 10 days or 15 days to unlock the next tank in a line, but making the premium a requirement GREATLY increases how much $ a month i have to spend on WoT (when included with the subscription for TankLeader).

Again, i thank you for your reply.
I welcome more feedback from anyone willing to help me out :)

I can understand your concern with the premium time, and not wanting to spend a lot of money on the game. You can also get a little bit of gold on your account and the bot will work just fine with gold on it, but no premium account.

I did not understand it in that way - well that is great then, i will most certainly give TankLeader a try.
Thank you again for replying :)

Personally, having used TL nearly one year. I would not use TL for any vehicle above tier 5.
Too risky to get your account reported and banned.
IMO, TL is good for generating credits in WoT, farming crew EXP with lower tier premium vehicles to later convert the crew for other higher tier vehicles.
I wouldn't risk using TL for anything else.
Search for my previous posts to minimize chance of getting banned while using TL.
