This post is being converted to a 1-60 (Night Elf Starting Zone)
Well it's time I start making questing profiles since school is over. This profile will eventually cover levels 1-60 Alliance. It currently covers levels 1-12. I am in need of testers for this profile. I have spent over 4 hours on this profile trying to make it as safe as possible. I have currently level 2 rogues with this profile without any problems.


Current Progress
1-10 (100% Completed)
10-20 (20% Completed)
20-30 (0% Completed)
30-40 (0% Completed)
40-50 (0% Completed)
50-60 (0% Completed)
Testers if you run into a problem with this profile please post the quest and the problem you had with the quest so it may be removed or blacklisted from the profile.

Mmmm ill test it out on a human pally :] I been wanting to start on a new server anyway. My medium server is kinda dying on the horde side
 
Please contact Mord in order to work together with him. He's already done with 1-20.

I agree, but I think there's also a lot of value in either:

1. Having profile makers get together, in one place, to write these profiles so once a particular item is figured out, the rest don't have to "reinvent the wheel". Is there something in place already, sort of a knowledge base, or "how to" for the latest way to create a profile with success? I feel that many hours of development time could be saved if something like this was put in place, so that time could be better spent on creating higher level profiles, or more of them.
2. Creating a variety of profiles, covering other races/factions/starting areas, so that we aren't confined to rolling up, say a Human Paladin.

My $.02.
 
Well if people would like me to swap starting zone I will. It doesn't matter to me. I'll start with the night elves.

The only reason I started the human profile is because I know the quests like the back of my hand. My previous meshes are based around it so I know what is safe and what is not. No point in starting from scratch somewhere else when I can much more quickly get the 1-60 done. Having multiple profiles is the way to go.

Yes I definitely agree that is why I swapped zones.
 
May I ask why you started a thread if you didn't intend to post the finished profile?
 
yee seems to be lack of nelf starting area profiles!

Just wondering before i download, Every quest profile ive tried there seems to be the issue of stopping after handing them in. Is it something im doing wrong orr is it just because there in beta??

I aint complaining because i know that you put hard work into them but its just i bot when i go afk soo it doesnt really work for me :( but if this one works, ill deffo give it a go.
 
carlos, its a (very annoying!) known bug in the current release of HB, which should be fixed in yesterdays proposed new release we're still eagerly awaiting. Guessing they ran into a few more bugs. Worth the wait if more is being fixed I guess...!

Make's me think why would someone start making questing profile release 1/4 of it then wont release the rest to the public? Unless someone pissed you off lol
